Is there any drawback to owning Fire Emblem Fates SE or is there any drawback to owning birthright and conquest on separate cartridges?
get the SE if you want the 3rd route on a cartridge

This. Pretty much.

Well, if you get physical copies of both, you'll have paid 80 dollars and still not have Revelation.
Best way if not SE is physical copy of Birthright/Conquest, the other digital for 20 dollars, and then Revelation for 20.

Aren't you kinda fucked if you don't already have a pre-order though?

This
The drawback is spending $20 on Birthright.
You can spend $60 on just Conquest and the Revelations DLC and get everything worthwhile from the game.

Are you or will there be any in stores?

there's hopefully going to be stock on release day

I hope so because my autism wants them all on physical cart. Are there physical stores stocking it besides Best Buy and GameStop?
>>322667434
Maybe? But as far as I know Gamestop has it it on the Do Not Reserve list.

Revelations is probably the best version for multiplayer considering it lets you use any character exceptCrimson and Izanabut aside from that it's not too different from Birthright.

Yeah, I heard that too. It makes me nervous and paranoid that all will be sent to the stores is what people preordered and no extras, so unless they have a cancellation in that last week, there won't be any extra.
My Best Buy still has two Xenoblade Chronicles SEs kicking around, so I'm hoping maybe it be the same with Fates.

It may be that way. Good luck.

I thought Revelations was just Conquest with optional grind, worse unit balance, and more gimmicky maps? That would still mean it has something resembling good maps, which would make it worth buying.
