Now that the sale is finally over, show us the damage, /v/. How wounded is your wallet right now?
I'm definitely going to try and refund 7 Days to Die, 100% Orange Juice, and Lego Worlds.
The sales are boring now that they happen all at once, and it keeps me from spending money because instead of single deals per day adding up they're all available from day 1 so I see how much it would amass to together and I end up just buying nothing.
I miss getting hyped for each day of sales, paying attention to flash sales, doing the votes, and doing the old ticket minigames when that was a thing
I only Bought AoE2 HD and Dragon's Dogma.
Nothing else really caught my eye. I was gonna buy SupCom + FA
againbut then I found my disks with CD Keys.
Ended up getting:
Tales from the Borderlands
Crypt of the Necrodancer (none of the dlc though)
And gift copies of Psychonauts and La Mulana to use up my last 4 Gabenbucks.
r8 and h8
honest question, do you guys actually play all the stuff you buy? my account is 11 years and I got 46 games. I see people in these buying topics on /v/ literally buying 20 games in one go, and I'm like what the fuck that would take me 2 years to finish.
0 YURos, all card money.
The Talos Principle + DLC (already finished)
Bioshit 2 + DLC
I was also considering Necrodancer but decided to hold on for a bigger discount since I've heard it's short.
No, they just have a massive hoarder problem. They don't play the games they buy, it just goes into the Backlog.
He justifies his purchase by saying that he'll play it eventually, but we both know that will never happen.
>Mount and Blade
>Crypt of the Necrodancer
Refunded. Not bad, but it made me want to play Megaman instead
>Pillars of Eternity on g2a
Wish I had bought it on steam, this game is absolute garbage
>friend gifted me insurgency
>redeemed Civ 5 from registering my laptop with Intel?
>got a 27% off code for Dragons Dogma on GMG
Along with the winter sale and the stuff coming out this year, Fuck me Vidya is going to be beautiful this year.
Yeah I have like 200 games on steam, from past sales and indie bundles, and I barely played any of it.
When I realized this it seriously put me off buying anything in the steam sales.
This sale I just got Rising Storm since I already play a ton of RO2, so I know I actually will play it.
I bought Apotheon, The Long Dark, Among the sleep and Verdun when I should've really bought Killing Floor 2 or MGSV. Did I fuck up?
Bought UnderRail, The Long Dark, Vagante, Life is Strange, Hard Reset, Dishonored GOTY edition, and preordered Dragon's Dogma. No entirely bad decisions so far. UnderRail, Vagante and The Long Dark are totally worth it. Life is Strange was also pretty comfy to play, some cringy dialogue and memes aside. Beat Dishonored main story long ago, and mainly bought GOTY for all the Daud dlcs and whatnot. Have yet to try Hard Reset, and eagerly waiting for Dragon's Dogma to finally come out.
That's a good bit of damage, anon.
Here's some doubles to make you feel better
Mostly pretty good though
Do you really think you'll be able to play all of these before the summer sale?
