A combat system that feels shittier than any Musou, horrible camera blur, a horrible camera in general and everything other than the main characters looking like complete garbage.

Its the best Final Fantasy since Crisis Core, story is bit fucked up but still pretty solid game to bad It never gor localized, played the translated psp version.

A solid 6.5 or 7 out of 10 game. Better than FFXIII, I guess.

Pretty decent FF. I've only played the psp fan translated one, and it was still good. Control on the psp was a bit fucked, but it seems its better on ps4. Only thing is, out of the 14(?) Characters, i only found a few to be good.

It's one of those games that many people convinced themselves was good because it never came out over here. I played 10 hours hoping it would get better, but it only got worse. It's really cheap for an arpg, with enemies just shooting you to death with one shot from offscreen if your level isn't high enough. The thing that tipped the scales for me and made me stop playing entirely is a part where you're supposed to take out some objective points to make the boss weaker, but it's not clear where they are. I accidentally proceeded too far, then it wouldn't let me go back and now the boss is ludicrously powerful.

You literally have to finish it once and start NG+ to access the 50% of the story content that's locked in your first playthrough. It's absolute turd shit.

A "git gud" game that most of /v/ shits on because of course, /v/ is full of unskilled shitters.

A game with a fantastic story if you care to find it, otherwise it fails to tell its story to you, most of the story is in texts instead of cutscenes and even the story that you see through cutscenes is locked behind a 2nd playthrough, but the game gives you plenty of reasons to want a ng+ or more.

Great dungeons, world map, flyable airhsip (but hidden inside ancient ruins that you find only if you explore).

Lots of grinding.

Combat system is literaly "git gud", resemples dark souls a lot, dodge roll is your friend, avoid spamming you attacks, the guy that said hold button for combat is a retard that played the game on easy, on anything above easy/cadet you have to wait for killsights and breaksights, which means you have to know when to attack.

Lastly, expect a great fucking and emotional ending if you managed to follow the story.

And read this after you finish the game.
