This game is not as bad as people made it out to be
Granted, I knew about the RTS stuff going in, and it's a fun (if a bit clunky) little ode to classic metal
I don't disagree. If they went more in-depth with the combat it'd be a much better game, but that probably would have alienated a lot of people who just wanted a fun, breezy tribute to heavy metal. The art design is pretty nice too
>Buying this game for Heavy Metal and Jack Black.
I'm never going to separate from this game. Glad I bought it.
I wish Metallica could have been in this
Kicking ass with Motorbreath going in the background would have been fun
>the fucking Razor Girls
I masturbated to them more than once.
Time to reinstall and honor our late Killmaster.
>tfw can't summon a fuckload of Headbangers while Overkill plays
>tfw can't choose soundtrack in battle mode and play the Rally Army solo to have FUCKING EVERYONE follow you around and wreck shit
When you don't know about the RTS stuff going in, the game is a LOT worse.
>hey, here's these kinda cool hacky-slashy gameplay mechanics
>hey, you can play your guitar to summon a car
>hey, you can play your guitar to do a whole bunch of other cool shit
>HOLY FUCK THESE BOSS FIGHTS
>this is like a metal Zelda game or some shit
>hey, hold on now, here's an idea
>let's never do any of that again and force you into a half-baked RTS for the rest of the game!
I suppose I understand backlash from those who weren't expecting the RTS elements, but as someone who didn't go in blind, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm not even a metalhead, but I really appreciated the characters and worldbuilding
