How could something from Valve be so shit?
>Cramps your hands to hell and back
>The trackpads' low surface area means that you'll have to swipe a ton to see anything at a sensitivity that provides good aim
>Only way around the above is to decrease precision with the Trackball or Mouse Acceleration
>Joystick emulation is legitimately fucking terrible
>Joystick-Mouse needs to you change the sensitivity in-game meaning it's still worthless on games like Arkham Knight
>People literally have to use gyro controls to correct aim in games that require precision targeting
>Shitty joystick that your thumb slides off of with a very tough click
Got mine for christmas, it's amazing actually the sense of precision is unrivaled by anything outside of mouse and maybe stylus, the only thing I don't like is the cheap lightweight feel.
It is the best controller i have ever tried. I really thought DS3 was the best controller ever until i tried this.
Configuring this is as fun as playing a game by the way,
It sucks that a DPAD is not present. I would like to see valve figuring out how to add a real DPAD in this thing. Then, it will be perfect
No you're right.
Only advantage the steam controller has is if a controller map doesn't exist it mimics M+KB. So for games like Civ you can play with a controller and not have to worry about another program to map inputs
The pro controller needs to be a bit comfier to use and be built better than it is, it's kind of like a cheaper xbox 360 controller. But you can't top that 80-hour wireless battery life, that shit is ridiculous.
