>game was literally made for local 2-player co-op
>Steam version has no local co-op, it's online only
Why is this allowed?
Sorry, Gen Y, 87.
I just don't see the point in having split screen, you are clearly the faggot who wants everyone to bring their shit over to your house so you don't have to get up and move.
You are the worst kind of faggot.
Poorfags want people to come to their house so they can save as much money as possible in gaming.
They don't like having internet, they don't like having their own equipment, they don't even like having their own games.
They want people to bring their systems over to their house so they can enjoy video games they didn't pay for. This is the common way of a split-screen same screen faggot.
You haven't given a counter argument yet. Which leads me to believe you don't have one, or at least you are too stupid to do so.
So pretty much I am correct in this situation, local co-op/splitscreen fags are poor, and tend to also have poorfag friends.
>Poorfags want people to come to their house so they can save as much money as possible in gaming.
>they don't even like having their own games.
So you were just lying when you answered "no" to >>322363126. Okay.
You're still retarded. I'm the one who would have considered buying this game if it had local co-op. I'd be the owner of the game and the one inviting the other person over. Obviously I'm not trying to avoid spending money on a second copy.
I have no doubt that the developers deliberately chose not to include local co-op specifically so that people who want to play the game together would need to buy the game twice. But as I already pointed out, my complaint had nothing to do with money. Even if my friend and I both owned the game, I'd prefer to play local co-op when the two of us happen to be in the same room (and of course online co-op would be used otherwise). Stop pretending that you don't understand this.
>inviting people over for a 10 minute game
No one is going to play your shit game faggot, admit it, you were going to take it to your college class and play it and hope some random faggot might want to join you.
Say the faggot complaining about a 2$ game, how does it feel to be a Jew and have no friends.
>Why is this allowed?
Because most of the people who bought this wanted to play with their friends over the internet because they are adults now who can't walk next door and ask if Timmy can come over to play.
Beyond that who knows why they left it out, it would have been a great inclusion but maybe the emulation is shit and won't allow it, maybe they were lazy, who knows or cares. You have a million other options for playing the MS series with friends via local multiplayer, go buy it or pirate it on a different platform or run an emulator.
Holy fuck you kids are annoying.
>WHY IS THIS ALLOWED
holy fuck the memes are getting worse
>2 people playing on a single keyboard
Are you a clinicaly diagnosed retard OP?
>No one is going to play your shit game faggot, admit it, you were going to take it to your college class and play it and hope some random faggot might want to join you.
I'm not in college anymore you buttmad idiot.
I invited my brothers over to play video games literally two days ago. It was fun. I'm having other people over tonight. I'm sorry you have no friends or family.
>holy fuck the memes are getting worse
lel oh lel
It does have local multiplayer but for some reason it's not listed in the product description like it is for 3 and X. And yes, you can do 2 players 1 keyboard.
anon please tell me you're not actually fucking retarded.
add me if anyone wants to coop i have all metal slugs on steam
Just don't be a fucking gunhog because ill just exit the game.
For the record, I checked just to make sure and you have to select missions from the main menu as opposed to multiplayer. The multiplayer tab is for online but you can select a local two player option within the main mission tab.
>wanting local co-op
What idiots plays 2 player games on their pc?
Okay fine, I was a little harsh and I'm sorry to OP. But still, I think it's implied.
I bought castle crashers for me and my friend that lives in the same apartment knowing damn well it would have local coop.
I get it's a little hard to grasp that pc games would have local play because not a lot of people use it, but I sure as hell do when friends come over with booze and want to play games.
I think any arcade game would have local coop. same with fighting games, it just has to have a two player mode.
come on, anons.
I'd agree if it wasn't standard practice to list it. Pic related is from Castle Crashers' store page.
I'd say that has a lot to do with the group that ported the game, metal slug 1 as it is came as a shitty port on steam on release day, there was a lot of slowdown complaints. It's no wonder they didn't list all features.
X and 3 list local coop.
