>want to play Mario maker
>finally pull out Wii U
>controller battery is dead
>realize the charger is slightly loose, but after putting it down it starts charging the controller
>forget about playing Wii U for another week
>decide this time I'll fucking do it
>pick up controller
>the charger had loosened again and an ad popped up from Nintendo on screen and burned out the battery
>plug it in this time and power it on, let's just fucking play
>drop it and go do something else
Anyone else annoyed at how shitty the battery life is on the Wii U controller? I hate how there's always one extra piece you need to account for in their consoles. The Wii one had that third plug for the motion sensor bar and the Wii U you have to keep track of the controller battery
I just got a Wii U and I don't find the life to be that bad. Then again I think the longest I've played at once is maybe 5 hours. Also its great that the charger is its own cord and not like the PS3 where its only a freaking foot long and you have to plug it into the console.
Also question. If i wanted to play Xenoblade with a pro controller I could still access all the map shit on the tablet controller right?
Literally have never seen anyone have this problem ever.
Either get a new charger or stop being a dumbass.
I dont understand the problem. The battery lasts 4 hours. If you have so little of a life you need to a life you need more than 4 hours straight either
1.keep it plugged in
2.buy the bigger battery that gives it eight hours
3. Use the 80 hour pro controller
4. Commit suicide
>charger sensitive and stops charging randomly (wouldn't be a problem if Nintendo didn't litter the Wii U screen with ads and kill the battery)
>having to buy more battery power because Nintendo is filthy cheap
>Pro Controller can host like two games without the need of a tablet screen interaction
>probably going to when the NX is confirmed to be just as shitty as the Wii U
Four hours is a long time. And i play a lot of video games.
Who plays non stop for four hours?
Plug it in when you go piss, when you go eat, when you stop to dick around with your phone.
Or just invest in the bigger battery. Or just keep it plugged in.
I havent heard anyone bitch that it breaks the gamepad using the charger
>could have played vidya, but you have to dance around the wires and such that you treat like shit
Meanwhile anyone with a normal bedroom layout can play the Wii u while charging their controller. lrn2 interior design, faggot.
I think the problem is that making a level in Mario Maker can take godly hours if you actually want to make a good level.
Took me at LEAST 12 hours just for one fucking level, no joke.
wut? you HAVE to plug it into the console?
its usb based you could plug it in a damn laptop next to you, or get one of those usb chager pod things and put that in an outlet near your couch....you people
People bought a NES for Super Mario Bros. They also bought a Wii for Wii Sports, a Game Boy for Tetris, an XBox 360 or a PC for Minecraft, and an N64 for Super Mario 64. Can't think of any similar equivalent for the Wii U though.
Here's a (You) just for (You) friend, enjoy it while it lasts.
I'm annoyed the tablet charger also has a power brick
the power brick is JUST at the right distance that it keeps falling off the bed and falling onto the floor. if the power brick is on the floor, it doesn't leave me enough slack to play it.
Stop being so smug about something so pathetic.
Ive been playing video games for 25 years. So, i know about playing video games.
I also know about not being a sack of shit. If youre playing 4+ hours straight of video games you are a sick fat piece of shit.
You need to urinate every two-three hours. So you must be dehydrated. Vission and hearing problems im sure. Circulation issues.
Have fun being miserable.
Tldr go buy the bigger battery you pussy.
Isn't there a light on the Gamepad that emits when you plug it in?
Stop being a shitter
