To answer your question Disney has bought Marvel, but that's not why MvC stopped. Marvel Studios (in charge of the cinematic Marvel movies that have been coming out) and Marvel Comics (in charge of the...well if you don't know this there's no point explaining, you might as well stop reading here) began focusing on "synergizing" a bunch of their properties to better reflect the movies.
Subsequently their shows, comics and other media have been cutting ties with most secondary material that isn't relevant to the movies, injecting movie aesthetics into said shows, comics and other media and generally just running a road roller over their image to flatten things out. That's where MvC got cut, notice that MvC3 had a lot more properties that were or would be in movies Marvel released. Things like the X-Men and Fantastic Four also disappeared or were substituted due to Fox ownership of those movie properties, but things like Deadpool and Spider-Man which are still quite lucrative were retained due to the potential sales factor contributed from their large fanbase and blah blah blah there's a lot of back and forth here but ultimately it was something long and well before Disney came into play and something Disney doesn't really care about.
They just want Marvel's money now that Marvel is making big film money.

OP probably had in mind something like western cartoon style vs japanese weeb style, something MvCalready did, but would like to see more of that kind of stuff.
