Did FM5 ever come out in the west? I started the series on FM3 and FM4 was "meh" in comparison.

Probably not no. Closest we'll get is a free to play tablet game where you have to buy tokens to start rounds or customize your Wanzer.

Touche. In hindsight I recall being amazed as a child that my home country of the Philippines could be included in any video game. I ought to play them again. Would be nice to re-experience both after all these years.

I can say for sure though that I really enjoyed the Network shenanigans in FM3.

It's a single choice that gives you either a really shitty story not in line with the series at all or one that at least attempts to stay true to the series.

In the beginning it's just whether or not you decide to buy a gift for Alisa that sets you on the path. You attempt to buy a gift and you get Emma, you don't bother and you get Alisa.
