I'm really hoping after DS3 they tone the fantasy elements down a little for whatever their next project is. I like the gameplay style, it works way better than all the attempts at "realistic" combat that always end up really fucking slow and clumsy and can still look reasonable.
I want a more down to earth historical setting, light fantasy elements at most, rework the combat a bit to make it look more like actual fighting without changing the way it plays too much etc.
