>Game is an RPG
>Has numbered stats and status effects involved with the combat
>None of it makes any difference and enemies can be killed easily whether or not you've upgraded weapons with certain effects
>Game "rewards" you with weapons and armor with these useless stats anyways
>You're expected to play for hundreds of hours so you can get items with more critical effects, which you'll trash seconds later anyways
>This is what RPGs have become
>game has both rpg and action elements
>either the action elements let you beat the game regardless of stats making the rpg elements redundant
>or leveling is totally necessaring and some things are even level gated making the action elements redundant
FFS stop mixing these. Either give me in depth complex strategy or give me intense mechanically difficult action.
>It's an action platformer game
>It has RPG elements needlessly tacked on
>It's so lazily done that it seems as though it was added in during the last month of development during bug testing
Fallout 4, TW3, a whole bunch more. TW3 obviously isn't as bad because finding gear is completely pointless, since the game pretty much tells you to choose a Witcher School Set.
FO4 on the other hand mashes this into the players face, and it's literally the only thing that pushes the player in terms of progression.
>They're not action RPGs, they're action RPGs.
>has no reading comprehension
Your reaction pic suits your everyday life perfectly.
>Game is an RPG
>you can only get through certain areas by being overleveled or having a specific class with specific equipment
>both methods require hours of grinding
Final Fantasy II on the DS wasn't fun.
If it looks like chicken and it tastes like chicken, then guess what it is?
I bet you have dozens of sub-categories for every other genre as well. Sorry anon, I'll privilege myself next time so you don't get triggered.
>TW3 isn't RPG
I hate it when /tg/ dumps their shit tier posters in here.
>Sell weapon to vendor
>He sells it back for double the price
