>best libraries gaming had to offer
>PS2 version of Viewtiful Joe
>Not wanting to play as best Dante
There is still valkyrie profile 2, castlevania LOI&CoD, legend of legaia 2.
So many good games I cant play on the ps3 or vita because sony is lazy as fuck and would rather just give us shitty indies instead of getting good classics on the psn.
>No console will ever attempt to organize another extraordinary holiday lineup like this
>they will always bank on one or two yearly overhyped shooters for the holiday seasons, so much so that they bundle the console with them
No denying that, the 6th generation was a fantastic generation. Also the last good one.
I will never understand why so many people kept buying consoles after 6th gen. Consoles hit their peak and then dove off a cliff, everyone's just flushing money down the toilet now.
It's a normie hobby now. I work at a local gamestore as a side job and you wouldn't believe how many people we get in trading in 360's and PS3's with full libraries of games trying to upgrade to the new generation just to play another fucking CoD or Madden.
The 6th generation was magic because it all happened at once. A huge explosion of amazing games, and it didnt end until the consoles died. That even goes for Nintendo, which kicked off the Gamecube with Luigi's Mansion and Smash Melee. The Gamecube was slow and behind the PS2 and Xbox but there were good reasons to own one.
