Am I growing out of vidya? No matter what I try to play, I always start to feel bored within the first hour and even starting anything feels like a chore.
Tired gamer thread, I guess.
>The cure is innovative gameplay
This, on all levels.
Gaming hasn't changed much in the last few years, most games are just rehashes of the past games, or simply aren't original to begin with.
Once you find the diamonds in the rough, though....
You're just burned out.
Spend a month or two away from vidya, hone a skill, take up a new hobby, etc. At the end you'll either come back to video games refreshed, or have no interest in them whatsoever.
Either way it works in your benefit.
You need to take a break and do something new in your life
good luck, because I sure haven't found anything to do
Try playing videogames with
How do you get friends?
All mine moved away when college started
No, seriously, just play one of the games you've promised to play with your friends but probably post-poned because of singleplayer-shit.
Play some board games as well, gives you a new nice view of gameplay.
It's also okay to play an old classic - even if you think you know the game in and out, you are actually always playing the game with a new pair of eyes since you are a human being, that gets older and gets more experience and feels ways in new different ways.
I only play
LoLfor the monotony and disillusionment that flavor of the month titles have been slung through the industry.
It doesn't any better as you get older
Nightmare mode:working overnights where normies get perplexed when you tell them 2PM in is too late in the day for anything
Can't you play with your old friends through Steam? My friends moved away too, but we played a lot Hearthstone (until I quit) and sometimes we all get together and play some random Steam-game and talk over skype.
I don't know what you should do to get new friends, I don't have any insight in how your life looks like - do you study? are you a NEET? Do you have a job?
If study - try to find someone in your class
NEET - you have all day and internet in front of you. You can do it.
Job - You can always afford to go to a convention or something
