Ep 3 is pretty good. It takes place a few years after the events of Ep 1. The Pioneer 2 is still orbiting the planet because the planet is simply not inhabitable anymore because of all the shit that happened in Ep 1 but it doesn't have the resources to make another decades-long trip back to homeworld. So everyone is stuck there and there's a lot of really terrible political shit going on. So a group of dissenters leave the Pioneer 2 and start working against the government and the game's plot revolves around the fight between them and the hunters hired by the government to try to stop them. And really horrible shit happens to them constantly.

I had such a strange experience with Yume Nikki, for the most part it wasn't really depressing to me, but I hadn't really explored too much, but then I wander into the e-man room in the mall and was hit by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwjOI6riH5s

Something about that fucking song just killed my mood for the entire day, it speaks volumes to me and I don't hear anyone talk about it,

Besides Lisa and Yume Nikki though, my personal depressing game would probably be Majora's Mask. I know it's a huge meme that "lol MM the darkest game ever" but honestly some of that shit just hits you like a ton of bricks, like Cremia getting Romani drunk so she's not afraid when the moon lands, or the Dojo guy putting up this calm demeanor, but is seen cowering and saying "I don't want to die" when the final countdown starts. Not to mention the whole impersonating these dead heroes, I don't wanna spoil it, but I think the story behind the Deku Mask was the saddest. Say what you will about Majora's Mask, but you gotta say the tone of the game was fucking great.
