Yep that's how it goes, developing the initial installbase is always important weather people realize it or not, I was an early adopter but I use my PS4 as my main driver so I've been getting good use out of it.

Sony though has taken it's sweet ass time this gen though meanwhile Microsoft and Nintendo were basically forced to pump out software but nonetheless, the table is going to get flipped this year and it's going to be fucking INSANE.

The ps4 has largely weeb stuff coming out which isn't appealing to the mass market in general. Off the top of my head there are no notable exclusive games coming out on the ps4 that is really hype to the marke. Meanwhile the xbone has scalebound, crackdown and gears. On the ps4 the only thing that comes to mind is nier but that's coming from an original game with low critic ratings that was irrevalent so it will have to prove itself.

Ps4 will still meet success being a 300 bux Fifa and cod machine though.

Eh, depends. I'm thinking about it, because
A) I skipped the PS3. I know I could just get that one for more instead, but I have so little time that the massive selection doesn't actually help me any because I can't play them anyway. So playing remasters on the PS4 may actually be a better experience for me.

B) I speak enough moonrunes and the thing is region free that nip exclusives aren't necessarily the end of the world, at least outside of stuff like JRPGs. Also, at least some of the major ones on that list are clearly getting localized ASAP, for Sony the west is a really important market now and they're in the driver's seat for titles like GR/GR2 and TLG.

$300 is already so little money that it becomes not so much about cost and more about how much I get out of it per hour. Doesn't mean I'll actually pull the trigger vs just keeping up on the PC but it's getting to be worth considering at this point to me at least.
