I saw the appeal of what they did with Shadow Pokemon and the capture mechanics, but I think Pokemon Stadium 2 was better overall. Still I feel like a 3rd Orre game or a new console mainline Pokemon game would sell systems.

vi threw away content for pretty graphics that aren't even good. the bad thing is that casuals and normalfags ate it up and think it's the best thing ever.

however, i do like the new lore that started in gen v and continued in both gen vi games

How could you possibly think Gen 2 is the best? It had horrible level scaling. Most of the new Pokémon were forgettable as well. There's a reason why the Johto starters don't have Megas. Face it. Gen 2 could not stand on its own without using Gen 1 as a crutch.

It doesn't take thousands of hours anymore. Both breeding and EV training have been streamlined a lot. Especially if you can get one of those perfect IV Dittos that are floating around the internet.

Honestly IV's don't make that big of a difference as long as you EV train your pokemon. i used to play competitively and i never had any problems as long as i EV trained and knew what moves to use.

they do matter, but you only, mostly need perfect IVs in their preferred stats and HP. literally 2 or 3 perfect IVs are fine. people think 5-6 IV is required all the time
