How could I have not seen this shit sooner?
Wii, GameCube and PS2 are all packed up neatly in a box because this shit is the future
The first time I tried Dolphin it was a piece of shit and I never went near it again. Started it up again the last month or so and I've never been so impressed with an emulator. Those fuckers are working magic, I swear. Imagine if the Wii U was able to reproduce that from actual game disks?
Do you just make terrible posts so people would post in your threads?
Well fuck you, I'mma sage this shit.
I was supposed to try this one game on either Dolphin or PCSX2 because I've wanted to try it out for a while.
But then I got on my PC and forgot the name of the game. Fuck.
that wans't me
i swear it on me mum
It's the only issue I have, but playing at any resolution higher than fucking 720p gives it horrible jaggies on anything menu or text related.
Same shit with most gen5 or later emulation really.
I've had it for years so probably not, I only started using that website recently.
>mfw Custom Robo @ 1080p and 60 FPS with full antialiasing and lighting tweaks
This shit could have been on WiiU, would have fooled me.
I know. Which is why I won't bother playing it until it does. Even if that never happens, no skin off my nose. I have a PS2 and a wii, both softmodded.
Mostly just blurs the shit out of stuff. Which is better but there are still lines in games like ring of red, that cover the entire screen because of other issues.
I don't have a problem with emulation. IF you guys like it better, more power to you. I just don't care enough when I can just as easily play the games on the actual machine and not have to deal with tweaking settings.
My fucking nigga.
Anyone who does not adhere to aspect ratios is instant shit-tier human to me.
>tfw all family members complain to me that there are black bars on the sides of the screen when they upgrade from their 1970s shit tier TV to a 1080p HD TV and still have regular service
>WHY ISN'T IT USING THE WHOLE SCREEN, ANON, FIX THIS!
Is there a hack or something to fix the annoying blur in the distance?
>Mostly just blurs the shit out of stuff. Which is better but there are still lines in games like ring of red, that cover the entire screen because of other issues.
Got no idea what you're talking about, I don't think you do either.
Never ben to coolroms
What blur? Use sharpening or a bump map shader if you feel it's too blurry. That looks fine to me.
You can disable/greatly enhance the blurry dof thing with one of the settings and he did by the looks of it.
>tfw no huge archive of all ps2/gamecube games
Did you actually look at the last updated dates for those 3-star compatibility titles?
Most of them were checked over a year ago, and are titles nobody gives a shit about.
I haven't had much time to play video games due to my increasingly work-intensive schedule/lifestyle.
Could you guys recommend any GameCube/PS2 game which is both fun and short/non-time consuming?
Wind Waker renders things in the distance at a lower resolution. It's not too bad, just a little annoying. It's even more noticeable at a lower resolution.
The only way to reduce the distance blur, as far as I know, is to increase internal resolution and AA, while Scaled EFB Copy is checked. So, if your machine can't handle an especially high internal res+AA, you may be stuck with a bit of that blur.
Also fix aspect ratio please.
Get the Ported_Shaders.zip and use the bump map shader, tweak it to be really subtle. And/or use reshade or sweetfx to add some sharpening on top, it will help a lot. Looks fine to me though.
Don't start that shit, there's only three options here:
It doesn't exist.
It's on some private website.
I'm a high functioning retard.
All evidence so far points to one with hints of three.
>Dolphin it was a piece of shit
you should've Tried PSP prototype emulation , now that was shit
>mfw tried PPSSPP again last year
Just for reference, I should've included that that screenshot was taken at 4x native res and 4xSSAA with the DX9 backend, and as you can see, there's no noticeable blur in it.
To be fair, that blur was in the game, and gave the game a really fantastic effect on CRTs. The reason why it looks like shit on Dolphin comes from the fact that it was designed to be played at 480i in 4:3, not 1440p.
Is there a retard proof guide to get Dolphin to run on a shitass laptop? I'm a poorfag who just wants to play TTYD.
Dolphin is cool, it lets me do fun things.
