Also Ashley "Virmire" Williams and all the Krogan Companions, but especially Grunt.
>try playing kotor again
>make a scoundrel
>remember how useless she is
>realize I made my pc the same as Mission
>remember that splitting the party at all was a pain in the ass and not worth it
>just brute forcing the game with a violent mob is infinitely more effective and easier
>stealth is a complete trap option
This is the problem with older rpgs.
Give me one of the Iron Wolves or Greiz's Desert Mercenaries any day.
>Last character to be recruited
>Worse healing magic than the healer
>Worse attack magic than the casters
>Worse physical attacks than the fighters
>STILL REQUIRED TO USE HIM TO COMPLETE THE VOCAL COLLECTION
Sweet Jesus. Then again, Tuta is a must if you want to have the most gimped party in Suikoden 2.
I benched her for kanji
never regretted it i made the right choice
If any of you like this piece of shit companion, please anhero yourself as quickly as possible.
Stay fucking jelly faggots.
4/10, I haven't seen anhero in a long time.
Lautrec seriously, why do you bother lending a hand?
don't you have something better to do?
LIKE RUNNING YOUR FUCKING COUNTRY?
Why bother doing this? The extra effort of sneak attacking everything is pointless
Stealth is useless and boring in all but the most complex RPGs, you just make the game slower for yourself in most cases and they are clearly solo classes in games based around party combat
>HOO HOO, WATCH OUT GRAHAM, A POISONOUS SNAKE
>THAT FOREST LOOKS DANGEROUS, I'LL STAY OUTSIDE WHILE YOU GET LOST IN IT, A BIRD'S EYE VIEW MIGHT BE HELPFUL IN SUCH A SITUATION BUT FUCKED IF I'M GOING IN THAT PLACE
>OH NO GRAHAM DON'T FALL OFF OF THAT CLIFF WATCH OUT GRAHAM OH SHIT TOO LATE
dunno, I have android but didn't find any pic of the game running on an android tab
keep being jelly
It's so fucking annoying you have to stick with those useless sacks of shit to get their endings
I wish I wasn't such a completionist autist and just be content with watching them on youtube but I just can't
There is no reason to use him other than when you're forced to.
>Not as strong as Auron
>Not as fast as Tidus
>Can't do magic as well as Lulu
He's actually a beast later on. He's weak in like mid game but since you have nobody better to use anyway you should just stick with Junpei.
Akihiko, Junpei and Mitsuru/Yukari depending on which you prefer is objectively the best endgame party
I guess Aigis works too but I still think Junpei is better
Should I replay KOTOR2 or play the MMO for the first time?
I don't really know what character to play as if I replay KOTOR2. I always played consular but I've heard sentinels are just dull and guardians just have a lunge, not even sure if I want to go melee this time around. Why are consulars even considered as an 'advanced' playstyle?
>Sucks when you first get him
>Sucks mid game
>Sucks end game
>Stationary moves/launchers that dont work on most bosses
>Juggle character that cant juggle bosses.
i guess. the android version isnt the same as the pc version, they wasted time and resources on making it. but it shouldnt really make you feel bad.
they probably need that money for the next star wars game
Hey, you forgot another shit tier character that we could purge from Mass Effect without anything changing at all.
KOTOR 2 allows for a much more varied choice of playstyles. anything is viable, even hand to hand, and it actually looks cool as shit. Besides, after you hit level 15 or so (about half the game) it becomes trivially easy. KOTOR 1 and 2 are like Morrowind for me in that the combat takes a back seat to the story/world.
Templar was nice to have for distracting enemies, and scoundrel/enchantress gave nice passive stat boosts. The legendary artifacts which unlocks all their abilities at once made them pretty useful as well.
The act 1 rogues in Diablo 2 are completely useless. Actually so are every other merc aside from the act 2 aurabots, and usually you only wanted the ones on Nightmare with Might or some other useful aura.
In the original game, once they died, you had to go back and hire another. With the LoD expansion they'll stick around, gain levels, and you can give them some gear, but they still wander off and die pretty quickly even on the lower difficulties.
In Diablo 3 I have yet to find a use for the other two mercs. The crusader is useful for the free heal / stun, that's about it.
They played Garrus as the 'bro-turian' when he was originally a reluctant police officer. That and in mass effect 2, legion pulls off the cold sniper much better, in combat and out
Legion could wipe out half of Harbinger's health with a single shot of his fully-upgraded sniper. He was the most powerful teammate you dumb cocksucker. Also the coolest and most game-changing in terms of lore.
Bros before hoes and at least kanji learns higher level spells and doesn't get stuck with bufu for the entire game plus kanji gets way more hp so he can tank way better than chie.
>Higher level spells
Useless on Kanji, if you are using him for his spells you are using him wrong.
Almost everything late game kills you pretty quick either way, so why does this matter?
a rogue in an undead, elemental and construct centric campaign
The only real glaring flaw of an otherwise solid shooter game.
One of the things which made HL1 great was the sense of isolation and almost complete lack of cutscenes. The entire narrative is driven through the gameplay in some way.
In HL2 you're basically led around the nose by her through the majority of it. This is really evident in speedruns where the game basically becomes a slideshow.
Kumatora and Lucas have magic, Duster has his tools, what the heck is Boney supposed to do?
