I have played on many COD4 servers with people playing on 300 ping who jump around the screen but somehow manage to pop me instantly. I once played on a bf4 server where running wasn't allowed except while under fire. I hopped onto the sniper class and fucking destroyed everyone, relocated each kill while hauling ass. That's not justifiable at all unless it's explicitly made for noobs because servers don't work that way. There are no servers which match make for skill and being skilled should not deter anyone from playing. It implies your server should hold people down to a level that's shit.

I was 14 or 15 when Raven Shield and I also played a fuckton of Counter Strike. I had admin powers on severs in each game and I was in a clan that consisted mostly of ex military guys and old people.

They would ban people for the slightest shit. Get killed, accuse people of hacking, ban them. If a team member was an asshole and the person responded in turn, ban. Lots of shit like that. Meanwhile I was 14 and did a better job as an admin and only banned people for team killing and blatant cheats.

The funny thing is ive known some of these guys for over 10 years now and they are 40-50+ years old. I play games with them every now and then and they still do the same thing.

I was playing BF4 last month on PC with an xbox controller and managed 1st place on 64 player servers. I recently got a controller cause ive had a PC my whole life and never used consoles since n64. So i started playing a ton of new and old games with the controller, which was surprisingly fun. Anyways, i tried BF4 with it and wanted to try to git gud. I almost always did mediocre middle of the pack at the end of round, but after a while and some luck on certain maps I got 1st and top 5 several times.

I also managed this in the new CoD on PC. But Advanced Warfare gives you aim assist when you use a controller, BF4 has no aim assist on PC.

I learned that if console games didn't have auto aim, shooting would be impossible mid to long range. You really can't get that small adjustment on the controller. Also, even though CS:GO has a built-in 180 degree turn for the controller, I still can't react if the guy is anywhere outside my immediate front.
