OP here, I'm still subbed to them in order to keep track of them, but most of the time, I don't want to watch them. I enjoy Ross and Barry's dynamic in that Santa Claus game but that was the last time I watched them.

A while ago on his tumblr he went back on what he'd said about experimenting with buttons to see what you can do in a game and he refuses to learn pretty much anything these days so yeah, GG keeps on getting worse and worse.

I wish Ross would revolt and Jon would tell what really happened already.

The worst thing is that GG has been shitting up Ninja Sex Party.

It's just becoming more commercialized. The fanbase is getting even worse because it's now attracting tumblrinas and Pewdietards.

I'd personally just unsub and check back like every week or so to see if they've done a worthwhile video. That's what I do since sometimes Steam Train, when it lacks Arin, has some neat stuff. Otherwise it's just another Sakura Spirit or Pokemon video.

Last game they did that I was interested in was Silent Hill 4, which Arin even said was his favorite so I was a bit excited.

Near the beginning of Game Grumps he was at least open to debate, now his entire attitude is "I'm right, you're wrong, and fuck you if you disagree" and he maintains that attitude with EVERYONE except Suzy, because naturally he's a whipped faggot.

If Suzy and Arin fucked off and Jon replaced him on the current crew, Game Grumps would pretty much be perfect. Steam Train is really hit or miss these days as well, since the only good series they do are point and click adventures.

For me it was probably Dark Souls 2. Not only did he do his typical bullshit of ignoring all mechanics, but when called out on his stupidity he became a child. He actively mocked viewers for calling him out and even made the fucking thumbnails for videos into this MLG 420 Mountain Dew ironic thing to show how he's taking it "seriously".

It's just such a pissy, immature thing to do. You can ignore fans and just play the game, or you can actively improve and try to change based on what's said. But outright mocking viewers both in content and presentation because you're asshurt is just so childish.

That's because he tried streaming ALttP back during Jon Grumps and the entire audience gave him shit for being terrible at the game and getting tons of information wrong. He kept trying to justify it with "I-I haven't played in a while" but he ultimately shut the stream down after a few hours because his ass was getting royally melted. For the actual video he wound up using footage of Barry playing, or just ripping it from other videos on youtube.

Recently stopped watching it once they keep commenting on how late they're playing video games rather than just trying to have a good time playing together. The show is becoming so forced now that its there primary income so they literally force themselves to play for hours just so they can make money. I know its always been for the money but when jon was still there both him and arin actually played video games together for the sake of having fun and just hanging out together.

Jon was the backbone of all the humor on GG. He either initiated or improved every single memorable joke they ever did. He invented the fucking "talk to Barry and make him edit funny shit" gag and that's why it died after he left. In one of the recent episodes, might have been Sonic boom Arin goes on a typical mini-rant over how initally in their friendship Arin and Danny had to 'be careful' around each other, they weren't good enough friends to say all kinds of easy going offensive shit around each other, but supposedly they are now.

I stopped watching them a bit after Jon left. I have nothing against Dan, but it feels like he's just... too happy all the time. it might be an australian thing or it might just be a 'that guy' thing, but some people like to get a reaction out of their friends and laugh at that. you could spend time crafting a good joke and get one laugh out of them, or you could burp and screech in their ear and get a massive reaction and lots of attention. ross can be intelligent, witty and insightful and he knows a fair deal about the industries he's involved in. but he just has this fucked up sense of humour and preoccupied with amusing himself to the annoyance of everyone around him. picking kirby in smash is a prime example of him fucking around because people being mad at him is a lot funnier than them laughing with him.
