I know I'm going to sound like some grumpy old man telling kids to get off my lawn. But it's weird to think that the big thing with kids internet now isn't games or anything interactive, it's just watching other people play terribly at games and yell into the mic.

Actually that noise was there because without it people didn't understand that they were connected to the internet. They needed something like that to tell them. You could turn it off, all you had to do was go through your PC's settings and change one little thing. I think you could even replace the sound with something else if you wanted.
