Until you get the Dragonstone it never comes up. Dragons will never spawn either, apart from Alduin at the start.

And I've seen more than a few people complain that Skyrim never acknowledges the player's actions. Be a Dragonborn and have saved the world? Still have to prove you're not a whelp to the Companions.

it's one of my favourite strategy games

Modded it so it doubles as an actual game and then as some porn game.

I don't have any fucked up fetishes like loli so my animations line up properly whenever I decide to use them and it's all fun and good. Have had the same install since 2011 and it still works fine with like the maximum load time being 2m.

Very happy with this game to be honest, can't wait for TESVI. I hope orcs get a bigger presence in the next installment and that we fully wipe out the Altmer for being pathetic, arrogant piles of shit.

You know its kind of upsetting. About every year or so since the game has been released I'll see a screenshot like this, and be like "Well, I guess I'll install a bunch of textures and armor and run and play skyrim as a cute girl. Oh, and then I need to install some thing to make combat more bearable". So I install those, it takes a bunch of time. Then I realize combat / magic / crafting or whatever is still terribly broken, so I install more mods to fix that, as well as more armor / clothing / hair mods because the stuff I have doesn't allow me to dress up my waifu more.

Usually what ends up happening is that while I enjoy playing waifu dressup, the combat is so unfun, and the terrible animations + the clipping / other issues which emerge when you aren't taking a screenshot + how generally un fun the game is just make me stop after a few hours. I'll literally spend like 5 - 10 hours searching for and installing mods, only to play it for like 3 - 4. And this has happened like at least once every year. It is terrible.

What I've realized I actually just want is a good dress super moddable dressup game, but that doesn't exist. It is a pretty sad state of affairs how Skyrim is arguably the best game of that type (definitely the best out of the west), beating out pretty much every porn game. One day I'm going to just make a super good dressup / porn game and usher in a new era, just you wait /v/.

Real question, how? I have like 70 hours in Civ, and every game just feels the same. The way the game play progression seems to work is that pretty much the same thing happens every time. My favorite part is exploring the map and contesting other civs for control of strategic parts of the map, but once that part of the game comes and the only real way to expand ends up being warfare I just get bored. The AI is too terrible to be a real threat to you, but due to their bonuses it ends up being an unfun chore to actually fight them too. And not only that, as the game gets later the time between turns becomes unbearable. The way the victory conditions work is that you don't choose one turn one, then wildly different playstyle branch out from that choice. It ends up being more like you are mostly doing the same thing with minor differences until towards the end of the game when you can finally fully commit to one of them. Every time I play it just feels like I am doing the same thing every tie.

No foot size slider. No goblins. Sure there are sliders that allow you to make a shortstack just as short and stacked as you need, but she'll still have tiny feet. I wonder why that particular slider is missing. I just tried adjusting the foot size of a character using a 3d modeling program. All you need to do is scale the foot bone larger, and all of the rest of the bones in the hierarchy down from that scale with it. It doesn't break anything. Animations are just rotation transforms so scale doesn't break them either.

It's literally impossible to start the game with any chance with Random Alternate Start. There was this one camp of bandits that would spot me from 500 meters away and fire arrows at me. It was either hike halfway across the map (only to find even more powerful enemies) to get past them, or run straight into their arrows. I get that it uses leveled enemies, but not even Morrowind was this bullshit. The mod also has a huge hardon for "realism", which I suppose means running out of breath after walking for a bit. It's bringing back flashbacks of Misery.

Can anyone help me?
I downloaded a mod that makes caves and nights darker, but it's too dark.

When I first ran the mod, it gave me options to configure how dark I wanted it to be, but I can't find those options anymore. Right clicking the mod does nothing, neither does 2x clicking. When choosing the mods to load, I can enable them or disable them, that's how.
How do I make my way back to configuring the darkness?
I'm using nexus mod manager, and the in game mod options aren't there either.

Bethesda is such a colossal disappointment.

The truth is, there is no one else making this kind of game anymore. The type of gameplay in Fallout 3/NV and TES isn't available anywhere else, where you have full control over your character's development, and you're let loose on a world full of shit to do. Bethesda knows this. They also know that it's a type of game that people really want to play, to the point that people will do Bethesda's job for them, and mod the everloving fuck out of their games to actually finish them.

Have you sorted load order with LOOT?
When adding or removing mods (especially removing) do a clean save.

A lot of people like to have their Skyrim look more colorful because the vanilla game is so bland and oppressive looking, and they want a bit more fantasy in their fantasy game.

I am. I didn't get around to Skyrim till November of last year, and it's basically devoured my free time for the past 2.5 months.

Right now, I'm pretty much in the end game. I'm doing the few misc quests I have that sound interesting, taking down the Dragon Lords one by one (it's a mod), and when I'm done with that, I'm going to go hold by hold (and Solstheim) and kill everyone in Skyrim (I put in a mod that sets the respawn to 999 days).

I recommend using static DOF rather than Dynamic. Dynamic looks weird to me. You can control how far back the DOF is with static, and for me I only use it when taking screenshots anyway. If I was going to play with it turned on, I'd rather have some a DOF that's consistent rather than everything constantly going in and out of focus.

Early on (like 200 hours ago early on), I killed this Blood Dragon. Now, I know that he disintegrated and I absorbed his soul. I remember it happening. But the corpse, not a skeleton but the full corpse, of this fucking Blood Dragon is following me around Skyrim. Like, I'll fast travel somewhere, and about five seconds after I arrive, the BD will flop down out of thin air. The best thing is, because it's just a dead dragon, no one reacts to it. I can't change their color, they are equipped just like armor. Only way to do that would be to edit the files from the mod in.. photoshop or something, but I don't really do any of that stuff. They're just the best option I can find for her - which is a shame! I'd definitely love some more realistic looking wings that match her skin.
