Is this game any good?

It's above average, but play stuff like Shovel Knight and Super Meat Boy first

It's a great Metroidvania. It's short, sweet, and does a great job of giving Shantae a completely new moveset as compared to the previous games. It was my favorite game of 2014. It's the only game in a long time that I didn't mind the character's dialog.

Why would I pay $20 for a game that has the graphics of a GBA game? Hell, the graphics on Risky's Revenge are practically the same, and that was a shitty DSiware game that was originally planned to be a GBA game.
