Theres a ton of issues with the game but its not bad despite its many flaws
But mainly it has these issues

>level system forces you to play classes just for stats instead of the class you want to play
>only one city
>pawns are rather dumb sometimes making encounters harder then they need to be
>combat is rough around the edges
>traveling through game world gets tiring when enemies seem to spawn at the same places every time
>Invetory can be quite clunkky due to navigation with controller and how long it takes to come up
>general lack of polish
My only other issue is that hard mode is literally just number tweaking so you have less stamina and enemies hit you way harder. Pawns are unaffected though.

Still a pretty good game all around, solid 8/10.

Try flipping it, a mage switching to a warrior will get fucked because their hp pool is half of the warriors. Idk where you got the idea hp doesn't matter, no matter your gear double hp means twice as many hits you can endure. Period. Its got one of the worst intros to a game gameplay wise, but you probably already got past that so thats good(unless you went straight to bitterblack which changes the game into a survival horror).

I liked it personally but I found the lack of enemy variety disappointing and there's not as many armors as I'd like and most dont look particularly great, oh and the way to unlock the ability to buy all armors is complete bullshit and you can screw yourself out of it pretty easily.

Sort of. The Seneschal is the thing that keeps the world alive, so to speak. So long as the Seneschal is content with their position, the world remains fairly normal. But, once the Seneschal wishes to leave their duties, the world can become chaotic, monsters can appear seemingly from nowhere, and eventually, a dragon is sent out to find a new Seneschal.
All in all, being Seneschal is neither a good or bad thing. It is simply another task given to the arisen to complete.

early lv 20's when night fall there are tons of direwolves it's god damn scary and also having to deal with Chimera and snow harpies at the same time while dealing shit damage to one direwolf

Dragon Dogma is the prime example of wasted potential of the entire last generation. It was so easy to make it right, to make it a cult 10/10 title.

That's it. That's fucking it. Would have been game of the generation with minor polish and simple number twinking.

It's probably the first game that made me genuinely sad for having glaring issues, instead of hating it.
