Here is my objective analysis of the /v/GAs.

First one was alright, Reddit didn't have the influence /v/ thought it did because faggot lurkers voted Bastion and Portal 2. This happened again with TWD the following year, but the skits reached rock bottom. Last year was good but /v/ got super defensive about SJW and made Dragon's Crown win despite it being average- this was the kicker because they made the awards political which is the reason we wanted something different from the VGAs in the first place...

Last year had the best production values though so who knows what could happen. Next year Frog Fractions 2 will make a clean sweep.

I would agree with you, but most VAs that sent stuff with them trying to speak naturally came off as just reading from a piece of paper. You have to remember most people working on the show are amateurs and VAs aren't an exception

First boss is a bulletsponge with waves and waves of enemies that have no mechanics besides a small add that you have to kill within a time limit but it doesn't move and is extremely easy to see until the boss' shield goes down. Once the shield is down the boss attacks yet can be easily avoided by hiding behind literally anything, and has no other mechanics besides teleporting around the room.

Second boss is another bulletsponge with only one mechanic being an alternate phase where players shoot the adds in a time limit, but with only two variations to the phase and the enemies spawning in the exact same locations each time, it's pretty fucking terrible.

Maybe it gets better on higher diffculties but from the stream I watched I was shocked at how bad it was.

Because the game made it difficult to play with my friends, there's no fucking local play for anything. I wanted to sit down with them and, you know, actually play WITH them, in person. But nope, we would all have to buy our own copy of Destiny and play in our separate homes. Too bad we don't all have the same console, either.

I loved Halo because I could sit down and play with up to three friends, on one TV with one console and copy of the game. We could make crazy custom games and our own maps, we could play online with other people or play the campaign together. Destiny has nothing that made Halo fun. It's a single-player grindfest with a completely broken loot system.

A meme award isn't really a big deal, people shit their pants before because they were really flooding the first /v/GA's. When it comes to the show, you just have to be subtle, really subtle. Nothing wrong with having some board culture in the show and in the nomations, some non-cancer stuff like Arino, Kung Pow, Protomen.
