Games only you've played.
Seriously, I doubt not a single one of you can name this game never mind actually playing it.

that looks fucking amazing.

Have you never even seen Panzer Dragoon? Fucking google it, it looks nothing like that.
The moonrunes are the fucking nickname of the dragon.

This game made me fall in love with RTS
Resource system was stupid, but god damn everything else
>fully voiced campaigns
>can play either the good guy or the bad guy in each campaign
>>273860241
I had some collection thing where it came with this, moon tycoon, and one more I think but I'm not sure what it's theme was.
Be glad you never played it
metal dungeon for the OG xbox.
probably the worst game ive ever played.
MMO made by westwood.
>>273860719
I did, thanks for reminding me that I will never see how that ending in 2 turned out for Simon.
Good god I dont know what they were thinking, 1 and 2 was so damn good...
I don't hear anyone talking about the game but I want to think a good amount of people have played 40 winks.

I did. Didn't finished it though.

I did. It was pretty crappy.
How obscure is this? Never knew anyone who played it
>>273861124
I have it and the sequel(why did they make the designs edgier, I do not know)
It was basically Pokemon for girls. With Fairies, sometimes scary skeleton fairies.
>>273861124
Semi well known after a few popular youtubers did videos on it.
>>273861124
played it when i was a kid.
>>273861124

>>273860719
I did, I was so excited for it when I saw it in the store. Joke was on me
That fucking sausage factory level.
>>273861124
Literally everyone from my age group (I'm 26, live in the UK) knows this game, it's not obscure at all. It was on one of the very first PS1 demo discs, same reason everyone here knows Abe's Odyssee
>>273861281
>Cannon Fodder
I played it on the Amiga, was there anything special about the Jaguar port?
>>273861281
Noone had a Jaguar, it's an urban legend.

Thats basically Desperados / Commandos but with Robin Hood setting, right?
>>273861406
Nah, the special part is just having a Jaguar

>>273861419
I quite literally had a Jaquar
Literally.
I had some game that was a video game for a sci fi channel show. It was 2d and pretty interesting what little I remember.
Then there was some fighting game where I could never get the real ending on because it kept saying do a higher difficulty even though I already did. Had a guy made out of some kinda liquid metal or some shit.
And so kinda platformer and all I can remember is the area having a vaguely alice in wonderland look.

OP, I give. I'm going through all the dragon related games I can remember that I've played - Dragon Seeds, Dragon Force, Dragon Valor, Emerald Dragon, Breath of Fire, Bahamut Lagoon, Panzer Dragoon - and I can't identify your game. What is it?
It's actually not too shabby, great music and decent visuals, even the gameplay is fun in short bursts, and the last time I checked it ran on Windows 7.
Russian Roulette 2: The next worlds.
Long story, short story: you are the descendant of a galactic emperor, you go to the HQ of two factions to do mission, you hop into a vehicle and go blow stuff up, get the crystal, throw crystal into the portal and go to the next world.
>>273863257
I think you mean it'd get sued by those crazy bean wrestler things.
I wonder why no obscure games got produced after like 2002
And I really like this too.
not even futuristic racing game fans know about it
>>273863569
Because internet. Nothing remained obscure on the internet, and especially nowadays you'll have watched more minutes of prerelease footage on a game than you'll ever log actually playing it.
Anyone?
>>273863569
You'd probably only find them on the PC. Increasing costs, budgets and a larger userbase means that pretty much from the start of the fifth generation consoles stopped being places on which you could find rare games.
Delta Force 2
Awful graphics, Awful AI, awful sounds.
But it ended up being my most used FPS, since it had a unique campal strategy and the chance to indulge in quick, fun missions.
If anyone knows something similar, please come forward.

There's nothing obscure about Crimson Skies.
It actually got pretty good reviews back then.
It's based on a tabletop strategy rpg kinda game.

it's as much of a metroidvania as metal gear solid was, yes
Last scenario, rpg maker game, starts with a cliche "the demons have awoken and you're the chosen one" and proceeds to create one of the best game stories I've ever seen, has a pretty good card minigame thing with its own storyline.
If you're not playing anything right now you should definetly give this a try.
>>273868978
Of course.
And it's even better to blow up Kennedy Space Center if you've been there before.
I dunno. I got this one on the black market. It's pretty obscure, I bet half the scrubs on here have even seen it.
This game had some damn good puzzles.

Did none of you actually play Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Saga, or Panzer Dragoon Orta?
Because apparently you've all missed out on one of the best rail-shooter of all time, of all time. Go play any of them, they're all insanely fun, but Panzer Dragoon Saga is the hardest. Huge difficulty spike with the forest boss.
3d Worms, or kinda like Valkyria Chronicles, but with less moe and more pigs.

I played this game religiously when I was around 10-12
Project Eden
Trying to remember the name of a game, came out after 1997 for the PlayStation. It was set in a tower (think it was 100 floors) and the town at its base, tower was randomized, there was monster taming, RPG elements, when climbing stairs you got an advantage/disadvantage based on height, THERE WAS NO MEMORY CARD SUPPORT. (wanna emulate it with savesates)

>>273871690
RTS game set in 60s, after M.A.D. started and ended WW3, based on Blitzkrieg engine and many it assets. You can play as USSR, PRC, US/UK and EU.
There are some diferencs from Blitz.
First of all there's turn-based strategic mode. You move around units to engage enemy units and capture bases (ammo supplies, reffineries, airports), via generated missions. Resources (ammo, fuel, spares) are limited and may run out. You get free infantry and APCs, but tanks, SPGs and planes you must buy for resources.
Other than that, minor changes. Crews can be killed inside vehicles. They can be replaced, but you lose all their XP. Contamination zones can kill crews in unshielded vehicles. Infantry can't be produced in trucks.
Game was pretty broken on release, but lots of things can be fixed with notepad and patience.
>>273861751
this was my first PS2 game and it was glorious. My favorite was always the robot, I think he had a grapple and an AoE explosion

i too have this game on psp.. i really like it actually.. its fucking beautiful. i understand why they didnt release it here though.. would be a monster to translate all the text in it. luckily i know enough moon to read basic directions and place names. would reccomend though.
I played this game on a jailbreaked PSP quite frequently, I don't remember too much about it but I know that it was one of those mindlessly fun games where you just try shit out and shoot stuff. The campaign is fairly short so if you knew what you were doing you played through it pretty fast and just repeated it over and over again.
There was some game I played when I was a kid, genesis I think. You played as robots and you could change your legs, torso etc. Anyone know what it was called?

Did anyone ever play this? I had the demo for it and I played it a lot, but I never played the full game, I can't get it running on and modern computers. Basically it was like Resident Evil 3, but more shooting. You had a camera guy following you around and the fucking announcer narrated everything. I remember being spooked by it.
I wonder if anyone here has even read what this is based off of.
