no one is forcing you to use the silly GUI programming in GM, you can make your entire game in code and it wouldn't be any different than making it from scratch, except you're working with an asset manager. i actually got a full notebook with stuff for a game, rules are set, main frame is set, i just need to finish a bunch of lists and prices for stuff but its pretty much done, it was originally going to be a tabletop game, but because of the calculations ended up being an accounting simulator every combat phase, so for convenience has to be in computers

Is it too much to ask for a beat em up that instead of having some weird super kung fu moves you have boxing, muay thai and other practical moves you can use on one guy at a time. How satisfying wouldn't it be to weave under a straight to deliver a huge uppercut, instead of just pressing Y to counter and the main character does some weird superhuman reflexes thing where he grabs the guys arm, spins him around, trips him and then does a retarded pirouette before kicking him in the face with a perfectly placed kick.

I just want a game where you have to escort a Japanese loli through a Post-Apocolyptic/Feudal/80's Japan, mostly on horseback.

The story would involve you being her personal butler before shit went down, and even though you could leave at any time, it's your job to bring her back to her parents across the country. It'd kinda be like Bioshock 2 where you'd constantly have to be on alert trying to protect her from criminals and bandits. The difficulty would vamp up the closer you get to bandit infested territories, and later on they'd realize that you're escorting a high priority target.

The twist would be that once you finally reach where her parents are supposed to be, you learn that they fucked off a long time ago and planned to sell her off to keep their status.
