Who is this guy?

BL2 specifically? Not much, honestly. His writing was obnoxious and annoying, but not enough to ruin the game itself. Unfortunately, the game itself was also obnoxious and boring.

In the pre-sequel he goes full ham, though. There's a part where the game literally grinds to a halt for 5 minutes as someone explains to you how the friendzone isn't real and it's a misogynist way to view relationships, and that really sets the tone for how the rest of the game goes.

Piss poor writing, dialogue that tries too hard to be humorous. Shoehorned bits about characters's sexuality.
That, and the general quality of the dialogue is just as eye-rollingly bad in BL1 so there was no improvement.

Honestly, Burch is just another retard who has a case of unwarranted self-importance because he thinks his writing is witty and clever when in fact no one thinks it is. There were a few lines in BL2 that made me chuckle but overally most of the dialogue was garbage.

The problem that I have with BL2 writing is that there is very little logic to the world, I just wacky for the sake of being wacky. Don't get me wrong, I understand that it's supposed to be over the top but you have make it somewhat believable in my opinion, otherwise it just gets boring real fast. The only thing I kind of liked about in terms of BL2 writing is that D&D referencing DLC, they way they touched the topic of a girl getting in terms with loss was kind of okay, I guess. She is still obnoxious though.

The real problem is the game. When you get to a certain point, enemies become bullet sponges in the truest sense and every area in the game becomes boring because of bullet sponges.
It's as if you've done the same thing billions of times over and the game becomes very samey, even though they have tons of DLC.

It is rather sad, because I like BL quite a bit.
Well not so much now, since I associate it so much with BL2, and I've already done everything worthwhile in it.
