PC Ports

I will always get it on PC only because I know that eventually I inevitably stop bothering unplugging the current gen console to play older games. It's basically just so if I get nostalgic that shit's only a download away. Nothing to do with looks, performance, whatever. I prefer playing most games with a controller, even on PC, other than FPS's which I suck ass at unless I'm using m+kb

If there's one thing Micro$oft can do right, it's their comfy-ass controllers. I never thought something could replace the 360 controller until I played with an XB1 controller. kbm still stronk tho.


OP here. How autistic is it for a very large reason why I buy ports on consoles is so I can have a box for my physical vidja wall? What can I do to remedy this?

I buy games on what I think they'll run on as my computer is shit.
Hypothetically, if my computer wasn't shit I'd probably still purchase some games on other platforms anyways.

Ease of access is an important factor when deciding what platform to buy a game on. I plan on getting Xenoblade Chronicles on the 3DS instead of the Wii for this reason. Another thing is how well it'll run and what problems I'll experience, which is why I bought Fallout 3 and New Vegas on PS3. I also like playing games on my favorite controller.

In the end though, I just want to play games. So its not important to me what platform something is on as long as I can run it.

I'd say it really all depends on price point, content(did the console version somehow end up with an exclusive mode or perhaps easier to set up co-op or vice versa) and the general size of the game.
I realize fully that I can hook my PC up to a large television and play the same way as on console, but not everyone is able to do this easily or feels like moving it often.
That one can be chalked up to laziness though, I suppose.

I've done the same before; Physical PC releases are becoming few and far between and in many cases are just a code or disc to grab the game from steam or otherwise.

I have a Wii U and PC, Nintendo games never get ported to PC anyway, unless it's emulation.
