Okay so I've finally beaten adventure mode. 100%, and everyone I like playing is at 99.

I haven't played nor paid for the DLC.

I understand the DLC villains have T2 and T3 weapons there. But is it POSSIBLE for Volga to get more fucking broken? I'm using a 5 star, T1, 2 slot weapon with Strength 3 and No Blocking and I'm killing things better than I do with Link or Ganon.

Getting enemies into the air and using your mid-air butterfly combo inflicts RIDICULOUS damage.
Also, your first combo->heavy move is great for reducing enemies' weak point meters.
Combo->heavy, then catch them on their way back down with two combo attacks.

Fi and Ghirahim are my go-to characters.

Quick question. Can I break the game knowing this?

I have 5 weapons to go before I'm finished; but I understand the 25K Skill is always the same.

So can I transfer the 300 point damage buff to another weapon with the 25K skill locked on it?

I've unlocked every character and every weapon, and I still believe Lana with Spell Book is the most fun to play as.

I'd suggest just ignoring the chickens. Kill the commanders, save the base, and rush the boss. Chickens seem content themselves just killing enemy or friendly troops slowly.

I like this idea. Why can't Link have roots? In fact I'd like an entire game to showcase Link having a family.

A home life with BOTH parents, a little sister, and a brother; possibly two, possibly older. But more than that: Have a set of grand parents living at home with them, and another family in the home town consisting of Link's aunt/uncle/cousins. But also a cousin who lives over in Kikariko, Other Grandparents who run a shop in Castle Town, an aunt who married a rancher that lives out past Lake Hylia, a knight Uncle in the city watch in some beseiged town somewhere.

I'd get a little more involved in quests and subquests if the chidings to live up to a hero's calling is coming from an uncle that will tell me how I'm part of a Knight bloodline. Or if the love note I'm delivering is to my little brother's crush instead of from some dick.

I don't get this. Explain this to me. I know the Gerudo have guards that have pikes. But I can't see how there'd be ANY sense to Nabooru using the Naginata. Not just because of the Sheikah symbol either.

The one we have is EXTREMELY NINJA or at least what passes for it in metafiction, and certainly falls in line with Biggoron Sword. Involves acrobatic flips, spins, generally hitting things you're not looking at, and creating elemental replicates that explode. The only other character in this game that makes clone weapons is Sheik, another purported Sheikah.

I'm all in favor of increasing the count of scantly clad brown women. But she could have the sworddancer moveset, the Iron Knuckle moveset, or a less theatrical polearm of her own.

I don't think so. The word of the post is "roots". Not everyone has to have a relation to Link, and I'm not suggesting someone in every town be related to him. But if there's like 80 NPCs in the world? Having a total of 5 secondary relatives some place out in the world Link can run into would feel like a lot more inclusive than the games tend to.

And I feel like it would ease up on the jarring character interactions where Link jumps from "Hello" to "Would you please do my chores for me?".

The x25,000 skill is called "Evil's Bane" on the Master Sword. It raises the Master Sword's power to 500 exactly.
It is called "Lengendary" on every other weapon it appears on. Once unlocked, it raises the weapon's base power to 300. Any further star rating that sword has add 30 more power. The maximum power you can get is having a 5-Star weapon, and even then the power reaches 450. For reference, a tier-3 5-Star weapon already has a power of 420.

In order to unlock the skill on the Master Sword, you must FIRST collect EVERY single weapon (T1, T2, AND T3 as well as Link's 8-Bit Sword) for EVERY single character that is playable. You'll achieve this by beating the Legend mode and then unlocking all the Adventure Mode weapons (you can toggle the Adventure Mode map by pressing X and you'll know you're done when no more sword icons appear As well as a little jingle followed by text that shows the weapon icon and Completed!) Only AFTER unlocking the skill on the Master Sword, you must then actually kill 25,000 enemies. It will not start rolling down otherwise.
Once you've unlocked "Evil's Bane" on the Master Sword, THEN the other x25000 skills on all the other weapons will turn from purple to red and you can start unlocking them 1-by-1 on each individual weapon.

Yeah, you heard me right. It takes exactly as long as you think it does.

Frankly the skill isn't worth it. The only weapons it is valuable on are T1 weapons. However, T1 weapons have a MAXIMUM of 4 slots to use, most have only 1 or 2. Whereas T3 weapons, when 5-Stars, have only 30 pts less poower but tons of extra slots to take advantage of Defenceless, Compatriot, Vs Dragon, Slots+, Materials+ etc skills.

tl;dr
It's not worth unlocking the skill beyond the Master Sword since a T3 5-Star weapon is 420 anyway. Your time is better served unlocking all the x3000 skills you have and finding a nice T3 5-Star weapon with tons of empty slots.

It's worth it on the Master Sword itself, honestly. The Master Sword with Light element + 500 raw power is very strong. More than that, it's DIFFERENT from his Hylian moveset because, when at full health, the sword will unleash waves of evergy at the end of every combo. Furthermore, the Strong Attack is a double spin and has about 40% more range.

First thing you do is perform C2 (Water)
Play Serenade of Water (congratulations, you have a shield that protects you from 4 hearts of damage that lasts 5 minutes). Took you all of 8 seconds to do.

After that, perform C6 (Light). It's really her only crowd clearer. Your only other option is to then play the Light song, where standing in the light refills your Special Gauge and you can spam your special.

If you are fighting a Captain, you can perform the C5 (Darkness) as well as play that tune. Works well.

If you are fighting a character, you can do the same or try C3 (Fire). Very strong, but the Bolero of Fire is tricky to place.

If you are fighting a giant boss, Spam C3 after placing the Bolero of Fire. The meter goes down very quickly.

Shiek's C1(strong attack) changes depending on which combo finisher you use.

C2(water pillar) gives C1 serenade of water (water shield that absorbs damage. HAVE IT ACTIVE AT ALL TIMES)

C3(meteor) gives bolero of fire (high damaging fire trap, good for weak point smashing)

C4(electric clouds) gives song of storms (whirlwind will spin around you, good for killing mooks while running past them)

C5(vanish) gives nocturne of shadow(mini black hole that damages whatever is in it. good for captains and character bosses)

C6(light) gives prelude of light(you gain special meter while standing on the field)

note that you cannot dash cancel while shiek is playing her harp or else you wont get it's effect and you have to do the combo finisher again.

Her special is pretty good, clears mobs all around her. You can also use it after casting bolero of fire to hold character bosses in place so they can get hit with it.

Minute of forest is played during sheik's spirit break, if you care about that sort of thing

Only the finisher and corresponding Strong Attack is elemental based. All other strikes have Lightning element (as all her Harps do).

So, saving up "Light" under your bar isn't going to give your attacks light element. It's just there to remind you what you'll play if you press Strong Attack.
