What's everyone playing?
grinding for that artemis bow
It's probably a flower. The people who spent all their time making Willow (ie jacking off to Willow) would have noticed and fixed any clipping issues by now. It's one of the most popular mods for New Vegas.
have you spread the gospels lately /v/?
by force if necessary
Who cares, companions are damn near useless anyway. That or they're so ridiculously strong (Boone) that the game isn't even challenging or fun. I use them long enough to finish their quests and then drop their asses at the 38 for decoration.
Honestly i use them like a walking backpack.
Playan some Money-bag posseser 4
trying to S-rank these missions on hard
don't have a screenshot of it but after you say this option and she calls you a thug your options are the hard diplomacy check in that other screenshot, you can just attack the tribe which starts a battle, or you can shoot the chief.
If you shoot her you signal for your men to open fire but they hesitate unsure what to do, you sigh lift your pistol and put a ball straight through her chest. When the smoke clears and she falls to the ground bleeding out all the natives look up at you and their jaws drop. Then you say "have I made myself clear, leave this place, never return" and they sheepishly pick up their fallen chief's body and leave.
>I don't think veronica is pure cuteness
are you playing a pre-EE copy or something?
In Vampire Castle right now.
Fuck these goddamn dogs.
found a few derelict boats on the north coast of Hispaniola, decided to check them out to see if there was anything salvageable. Shockingly we found a boy still alive, though he was near death. We rushed him over to our doctor who sadly could do nothing for him. Before he passed he told us that he was on a merchant ship bound for San Tiago that was set upon and boarded by savages. I promised him that we would avenge his companions and gave him a proper christian burial.
I sent out one of my hunters to search for any tracks nearby that might belong to the heathens and he quickly found some, their footgear is quite easy to distinguish from our boots.
Despite the objections of my doctor that there we were outnumbered I could not sit idly by and let them murder good christians again.
guy is probalby on a pirated copy or something. I didnt even know they fixed it. What a difference. I hope the guy who put that tint on was fired. What a colossal fuck up.
expeditions conquistador, its half off on steam atm I'm really enjoying it
combat is like xcom with swords+early guns, on the overworld you have to manage your caravan to prevent people from starving, dieing of disease, and figuring out where to go
The gameplay so far has been a bit of a mixed bag but the writing has really held it up, you can decided to play as a benevolent white guy trying to bridge the gap between the spanish and the natives or you can just go for the classic rape and pillage conquistador.
7th Stand User.
Not that far into the game. Trying to find that weird guy that ran from behind a pillar at the port and found this
Please do not sexualize the Nanako.

Rome 2 is very good with mods now I would say. It's only been a year, too. Example:
This is a mod that's adding in region population that will affect recruitment and colonization like in Rome 1, but with different tiers of social classes so it's even more in depth. It's being made by the guy that lead the dev team of The Great War for Napoopan so I have full confidence in him.
That sounds awesome. I see the minimum reqs are beyond my toaster's specs, do you think I'd be able to run it alright on the lowest settings? I'm rocking a 1.8 cpu, 128mb intel integrated
sorry for the 20Q, game just looks like a cool mix between oregan trail and xcom id like to try it out without wasting money
yeah, I'm playing on a laptop as well it shouldn't be a problem
plus the game is entirely turn based (on the overworld you have a set number of moves per day before you have to camp based on your stats, combat is all turn based, and story takes place in VN style text boxes) so if you get a lot of slowdown its not going to effect the game in any way
I uninstalled that mod so fucking fast when I heard her voice.
cool hope you enjoy it, apparently it hasn't sold that great unfortunately since its one of the few kickstarter games to actually materialize and live up to its promises
it does take a bit to get used to playing it though, the map system especially
I've missed this game too much.
I am watching JoJo for the first time and about to go into NG+ in dragon's dogma
also doing composite materials engineering homework
I don't care if I'm late on the jojo bandwagon, i'm fucking loving it
if you're as autistic as I am, the smudge tool in photoshop is really good at removing the horrible blocky compression from DD screenshots
you have to use a light touch though
I keep a Golem Axe in my pocket for tail cutting
I'm well into Part 2, and yeah, it's gotten way better
I feel like Roundabout is being over-used a bit, but it's an awesome song so who cares. I don't like the vocals in the version that the show uses though.
Evolve. Kraken is pretty crazy.
>there are people who seriously handed the Mojave to this guy

>/gsg/ is the worst thread on /vg/
what makes you say that, the commentaries people make on their playthroughs can be entertaining if they know how to write
(here's what i mean by smoothing things out. fuck you capcom.)
part 3 is even better and part 4 is even better than that and part 5 is on par with 4 and part 6 is slightly worse than 5 and part 7 is even better than 4 and 5 and part 8 isn't finished yet but its pretty good
in my opinion, so don't get all pissy and ">part 5 as good as 4" or whatever you faggots will surely do
/tesg/ at least has the porn mods to talk about, /gsg/ is literally 90% shitposting, 10% crying about Paradox and DLC.
When was the last time you went on /gsg/? Most people just post a few screenshots in between 150 post /pol/ arguments/shitposts.
Satasha HM is so good
THERE ONCE WAS A FRENCHMAN, YVON WAS HIS NAME
EXPLORING NEW WORLDS HE DREAMED WAS HIS FAME
BUT READING A MAP WAS NOT HIS FORTÉ
SO POOR YVON WAS SOON WASHED AWAY
>When was the last time you went on /gsg/
maybe January? Has it really fallen that far, what a shame.
well when you go around Vegas and talk to people about their experiences with him it becomes clear that he's so intensely focused on his goals (noble though they may be) he's completely ignored all the people he's stepping on to get there. All the people he kicked out of Vegas and into freeside, necessary to improve our image. Making literally thousands of vault dwellers homeless because he needed spare parts to fix up his casinos was simply easier than working with them to find a solution that benefited everybody. They aren't even people to him, its just a snowglobe with no snow.
Like in this pic he talks about offering a future for mankind but his future is clearly only going to be available to those who can afford it.
Let me summarize every /gsg/ thread for you:
First ~10 posts are people claiming post numbers for various historical figures
Someone posts a screenshot from an ongoing game
>Having Province Y
200 posts of shitposting about Country X/its modern incarnation
200 more posts shitting on everything. Mods, Paradox games, non Paradox games, etc.
Maybe 3 more screenshots
Every fucking thread.
>Fallout New Vegas ulimate edition is negative 3.53 dollars on Steam.
agreed, though not for the reasons you think it is
I sided with glorious Yes Man, but I lost interest by the time I eliminated the White Glove Society. Going to give it another shot eventually but instead side with the logical choice, Caesar's Legion.
Recommend me some games about being a necromancer/warlock/some kind of summoner
anyone ever notice that Michael Angel-O is literally the only guy in the entire Mojave who thought to actually clean his refrigerator?
This is one problem I've had with FO3+NV, just because its post apocalyptic doesn't mean people stop washing their floors. I mean ffs in FO3 there was even a house with people living in it that still had skeletons in the bath tub.
Most people are just kinda squatting wherever they live and the houses are already dilapidated.
Plus, especially in the desert, people probably wouldn't prioritize cleaning stuff over drinking water.
Finally reached T8 in robocraft. I'm pretty happy with my current design which is a sure sign I'll have to scrap it soon
Is it worth it? There is nothing good coming out and I need a new game. I got into the Evolve alpha played an hour and will not buy it.
The only other thing worth buying after Beyond Earth sucked is a Wii U with Bayo and Smash but I can't really do that now cause I bought a truck and am getting an apartment.
So please, all "hurr COD" aside, is it worth a play?
>aw shiet son you blind nigga
yeah when I met her I actually expressed sympathy to the rebels because el gobernador is such a complete asshole, but then it turns out she is the rebel leader and she still bushwacked me anyway, fucking puta
I really do find it odd how many women there are in the game, I can understand some of the doctors being nuns, some of the hunters being women, and maybe in the new world things are a bit different since they have so few people to defend the colony but shouldn't all the soldiers from your hermandad be male?
im applying for a clerical job
apparently it will be a real resume buff if i go in with a certificate the local job center offers for typing speed
so im playing this game to try and get myself a faster words per minute typing rank
>N64 GOTY EDITION COMIN' AT YA
>tfw everybody is playing high end pc or next gen games and I'm still to poor to afford any of it
>emulators are my friends
Caesar's Legion will crumble if Caesar dies, ESPECIALLY if Lanius is in charge since all he understands is how to fight. That picture also said that people thrived post-Rome in a renaissance, that is false. It took nearly a millennium for the Renaissance to begin.
.People always go on about how great FEAR AI is
>Play the game
>It just either charges you or sits in one spot until you come out
>Slow-mo make everything trivial
>Playing on hard
Still fun, though
Also the helicopter rides look like shit.
Nobody told me this was Deus Ex with Vampires
Cleaning the refrigerator on the outside doesn't mean much except for looking good. I assume everybody cleans on the inside too or else they eat rotten shit all the time.
In FO3 is more acceptable because it's still Post-Apocalyptic scenario, while NV is Post Post-Apocalytptic, so maybe people should be caring a little more for frugalities.
Sins Rebellion, mostly.
iirc it was originally going to be all (vast majority) male. People complained, so they added in a bunch of female characters. Other people complained, so they said "fuck, just don't select the female characters for your expedition and deal with it"
I find Oblivion a borefest to play if you're not using magic. Because holy shit just swipping my weapon from left to right on an enemy is really aggravating.
The AI for the conjured is pretty straight forward: Attack hostile shit on sight and that's about it. You can conjure up to 3 things. I remember conjuring a golden soldier, spider queen or something like that and a flesh golem (I think?). These motherfuckers cleaned out dungeons almost by themselves.
Because of that I could just rock out royal garments instead of armor or robes and just wreck shit all day like a fucking boss.
its not that I mind there being female characters I just think its odd since it feels like in all other respects historically faithful
though its always so difficult to say with these things, women actually had a great deal of property rights in most feudal nations they just rarely got the opportunity to exercise them. But female landlords were not unheard of.
I really know nothing about what hermandads as an institution, perhaps it was really up to the discretion of the lord how it was staffed.
That's Star Wars: Interregnum. Very much in Alpha, with only the Empire and Warlords factions currently in (plus the vanilla factions). What's there is damn good, though.
The 50/50 ratio at the start is a bit off, but otherwise the female ratio seems okay. Mostly because a lot of the personal accounts historians have unearthed (lots from the Archive of the Indies in Sevilla) seem to suggest that the actual number of conquistadoras was far higher than just the few exceptional cases, Catalina de Erauso as the most prominent example, would make it seem. Orphans of noble soldiers and their wives born in New Spain, homeless maids, bored runaways, the odd stowaway crossdresser,… All that. And it’s also okay because this is a fictional narrative in which you manage to replace Cortés with your ragtag band of misfits and bastards – so EVERYBODY is exceptional anyway.
I've been playing Payday 2 because of Crimefest and Halloween. I can't never realized how good pistols can be with MM skills until now.
oh really? That's cool, I'm still on the Hispaniola campaign.
Can you give me any tips for combat though, I'm getting my ass kicked a lot and I'm not sure if its the game's way of telling me that I should be avoiding combat against a numerically superior force or if I'm just shit.
I was able to beat a group of 8 natives but when I got ambushed by 10 rebels and decided to STAND AND FIGHT rather than have a few people hold them off while I run I got creamed.
was that a fire emblem reference because of all the spinning?
spent most of all day looking at the creepy shit in the titanfall maps.
you'd take power playing over that glorious golden hair?
It's been a while since I played, but my advice:
Hunters are nice
Soldiers are good
Scouts are badass motherfuckers
Make liberal use of the attack of opportunity mechanic. There are some classes that can 'taunt' or 'scare' an enemy into moving closer or running away - you can use that to trigger attacks of opportunity for massive damage.
Also, firebombs (can't remember what they're called) are the most useful thing in the game.
well I did it in a game when I fielded a pure cavalry force but I decided the female paladin sprite is too good to pass up
I agree that general amelia is PURE POWER though its not like you really need it for Sacred Stones, I once beat it on hard literally only using Seth and Eirika for the entire game.
>Make liberal use of the attack of opportunity mechanic
haven't really been able to get much out of it yet except for the occasional oh fuck whenever I forget about it and try to move someone
also it feels like guns are really shit, do they ever get not shit? I understand that early firearms were inaccurate as fuck but a 48% chance to hit with an arquebus when standing at melee range, are you serious?
lol full calvary. that is hilarious.
yeah i kind of only played it because I liked the animation. it was fun for a while but then it just got too easy. but i liked the animation so it was all good.
bought the new one for the 3DS? saved in the level so i cant get out, and my stupid daughter Neutral unit keeps walking through my people to her death. every damn time. and I cant get out of it.
Typical socialist, would damn every one from civilization if the poor couldn't have it
Whatever temporary ease you provide the weak is overided by the aeons of pain you sowed by leaving them in the dark ages
Everyone sucks with guns, except Hunters.
Hunters get more accurate with level, if I recall.
Don't count on anyone else hitting with a gun.
ALSO, I nearly forgot. The hunters have an amazing ability that allows them to shoot twice, if they run up to melee range. It turns them into fucking executioners.
The main thing with Attack of Opportunity is that you can create danger-zones to prevent the enemy from moving certain places. Also don't forget to flank. Scouts are great for setting up flanking attacks.
its not the dark ages though, earth is completely salvageable we just need someone who actually understands it to fix it
House hasn't been outside in over 200 years he too out of touch to lead.
If It was just some big eyed girl that wants to fuck instantly, I could understand that question. But in reality this is a companion you have to work with for many hours before she even thinks of you two being friends.
Also, how the fuck is that an animu hairstyle?
Come on mate you don't know your lore. The world was much more advanced in fall out, those ncr fags might seem like they got their shit together, but they're caveman with sticks compared to fall out society at its zenith
The earth is not going back to that, most holotapes and books are destroyed, there's no oil, and house's knowledge of robotics is irreplaceable; aside from all the technical from his company not open to public, I don't even think information on making basic robots is around seeing as the brotherhood hasn't made any ever
>tfw playing on an emulator when I own it for my Wii already
I do and do not agree with that image.
On one hand I can see the point being made, gives me a new perspective on the game.
On the other hand, ceaser was going about it the wrong way it seemed, at least outwardly [the way you perceive them]. Instead of trying to improve upon the roman ways he sort of fell into it, any wise man would have tried to improve upon the system.
Ultimately Ceaser would have died and the whatever dream he had would have died. We already saw the atrocities his subordinates were committing.
Hunters with Arquebuses in the late game can be some of your most powerful soldiers. Give em the point blank shots guarantee critical hits ability, use a soldier to stun someone to avoid the attack of opportunity and use the hunter to one shot kill them.
>those venetian fags might seem like they got their shit together, but they're cavemen with sticks compared to Roman society at its zenigh
>Europe is not going back to that, most manuscripts are destroyed
we recovered before, we can do it again
Modding skyim is better than the actual game
Roman empire gained german leadership and decentralized, they weren't hit with fucking atomic war heads after resource depletion. If you're not seeing the difference, I don't know what to say. Life isn't million dollar man
That was why I never sided with anyone.
The NCR might be the best option though.
Yeah, they have a huge amounts of faults that come with a governmental system, but on the other hand they always seemed like they were really trying to keep order and that was it.
But, I haven't played the game in a long time, so I am sure I am forgetting things.
Looks like I have to take the castle myself
idk if that's really comparable
a post nuclear society is one without precedent, that's true, but I think the renaissance showed that the desire for knowledge and advancement can't be kept down forever
Always loved taking screenshots, now I'm trying this downsampling with DSR. Shit looks p. nice.
Also on this note, anyone know a high-res slim armor that has a bandit type look? Something that would go well with my generic bandit man character.
what do you need an assault rifle like that for, only NCR should be allowed to have those
all you need is a .22 rifle, a 9mm pistol and a shotgun, enjoy your jam machines
be sure to have about 20,000 .22lr rounds stockpiled though, never know when the price could go up
It fits my bandit man look.
facade: HD remix
So, Fallout bros, I just bought FO3 on sale for the sole purpose of using Tale of Two Wastelands.
I have a question. I read that TTW uses some of the older FO3 sound effects, like the cash register sound for XP, etc.
Does it bring back the old robot voices? That was one thing I hated in NV was the changed Robot voices. The protectrons were alright, but the Mister Gutsies didn't sound like Drill Seargants any more, and the Mister Handies didn't sound like British Butlers!
Please, this is important.
I'm playing Biding of Isaac now. Trying to finish up Platinum God before the new game comes out tomorrow. I am missing only the last challenge.
Thats basically what it is. It has a great setting, writing and visuals but the gameplay is utter shit due to it being an mmo. If it had been a single player game it could have been amazing.
Good taste. I've recently played the second one. Think I'll do the first with expansion soon. Fantastic FPS.
Also, here one of my RoR runs. Played that a lot between DS2 and BoI. Still missing one artifact though.
this mod took a lot less time to make than I thought it would
yeah, but then I have to go get an unpacker thingaroo and find the corresponding voice files in FO3, it would be a pain in the ass. So I guess you're saying TTW doesn't do this or you don't know?
Like I said, it's the best mod for Warband.
>tfw armor is gr8 but too low res to use
I cropped this a while ago because I thought the first line would be potentially exploitable, but I forgot about this cap ever since.
Woke up the next morning and wondering why on earth I bought this bloody game.
>tfw this was my first time beating the game, and it was on a server full of Slavs
MAYBE the world will never recover to its technological zenith without house, but maybe that's not such a bad thing.
Look at where all that technology got us, even if there hadn't been ww3 the prewar civilization seemed to have some pretty severe social problems despite all their technology. They also had no problems just dumping nuclear waste all over the place and using EXTREMELY dangerous irradiated materials as rocket fuel.
Underrated af. Also my first 4chan post. I wonder what will happen to me now.
this is my favorite game of all time, I love it
Imagine an open world mirrors edge style game.
Abyss Odyssey, its from the guys who made Zeno Clash. Its kinda like Smash Bros. Its not amazing but its kinda fun and has fantastic art direction. Zeno Clash is better though. >>270318434 is also from it.
Just finished up saints row 4 with my buddy. Best part is i cant replay the story in single player mode since I was technically still in the beginning of the game when we started.
SR4 was way better than I thought it'd be after the godawful SR3. That ASCII filter was really cool too.
>Tfw afterglow of fucking Red Lucy and getting sweet Dinner Bell
It has a release date now, Dec 4th, I can't wait. I've been keeping myself from playing the alpha cause I want to go in fresh. What I played of the initial demo's release was really cool though. Like Fallout 1 and 2 with a horror twist.
Its from the remake but I don't know that they did all that much touching up. Still, that would still make it 5 years old and its dynamic lights are more impressive than the lighting in most games today.
They did, because I remember when I
bought it off the xbox live marketplace using my mum's credit cardthat there were screenshots comparing the original xbox version to the new version
