I'm thinking he'll have his Melee moveset again, but revised and buffed. Sakurai has never exactly gutted a returning veteran's moveset and replace it with something else (Otherwise, Ganondorf wouldn't be a Falcon clone/semi-clone). Bowser and Pit got new moves, buffs, animations, etc but I say they still retain the essence of their previous appearances (Pit still primarily fights with the Palutena Bow and Bowser still has his old B moves and some of his A attacks intact). I'm expecting the same with Mewtwo.

Yeah, I didn't mention it, but it neutralizes the projectile. Custom 1 would reflect the projectile with a x2 damage multiplier, but be destroyed by physical attacks. I'm trying to think of a custom 2 for Barrier, but I got nothing.

This is what I'm hoping for:

* Leave Neutral A as is, but make it harder to escape and end with a strong burst.
* Keep Tilts the same, with sweetspots on the tip of his tail.
* Change Dash Attack to Zen Headbutt, creating a hemisphere of energy in front of himself and ramming with it.
* Change Forward Smash to Focus Blast, builds a sphere of energy in front of Mewtwo that gets bigger and bigger and explodes when the attack initiates.
* Change Down Smash to Psycho Cut, which spins a blade of energy around his legs.
* Keep Up Smash as Dark Galaxy but add a vacuum effect that holds opponents better and with greater knockback on the final hit.
* Keep his aerial A moves the same with tweaks to damage and knockback for some.

* Keep Neutral B as Shadow Ball with all its properties.
* Keep Up B as Teleport.
* Change Side B to Psystrike, Mewtwo sweeps his arm forward and creates a spark at the apex, if it hits someone they explode in energy and fly away, and it damages anyone in proximity was well.
* Change Down B to Safeguard, creates a stationary shell of energy that neutralizes projectiles and lasts for a few seconds, but melee attacks are unaffected and others can hide inside if they want.

* Final Smash has him go into Mega-Mewtwo Y and fly around the stage throwing Psychic blasts.

We can all agree that Mewtwo should keep its Melee Up-throw, right?

NB - Shadow Ball, hopefully leaving the erratic movement to Lucario's Aura Sphere this time around.

UB - Teleport, can't actually learn teleport but it was fine in Melee.

SB - Psystrike, Mewtwo's signature attack that was introduced after Melee was released, probably as a shockwave that explodes on contact, and Confusion was bad.

DB - Barrier, because Sm4sh has a greater presence and precedence for defensive specials, and Disable was bad.

Here's what I'm hoping for Mewtwo.
^B - Teleport
B - Shadow Ball
>B - Psystrike. A speedy projectile that breaks shields, but with high ending lag.
vB - Barrier. Creates a wall that destroys enemy projectiles. The wall disappears after a few seconds.
FS - If you hold left, it transforms into Mega Mewtwo X. If you hold right, Mega Mewtwo Y. X is stronger, Y is faster. Both take no knockback and can't be grabbed.
As for its A moves, I'd like to see bigger hitboxes and more hitstun. The tilts and smashes should be faster than they were in Melee, but the aerials are fine. Grab range should be increased so Mewtwo can get kills with its powerful throws.
It would be nice if its tail was invincible(like Pikachu's tail in 64), but that probably won't happen.

How would Psychic even work?
I see it building up over time like a wario fart, flinging opponents back. No damage, but coming out almost instantly, an option to angle, and killing at higher percentages. Could send projectiles back too.

Also down B could be a buffing thing rather than reflect. Recover or calm mind.
