D3 has some tools that're difficult to avoid in laggy For Glory matches. Similarly, D3 lives to absurd percentages fairly often and unless you kill him outright or the player fucks up royally, he'll never fail to recover.

So it's not that people don't know how to counter D3 really.

Chef is such an underrated move. It's fucking ridiculous what it can do.
It's great a stop people in their tracks and trapping them in a barrage of meat, just raking up a lot of damage.
It's also great for edge guarding, there have been times where I've just been spamming it for 30 seconds while someone on the ledge tries to get up only to get knocked back down with meat.
