Work isn't even about "work". It's about submission. At "work", you never actually do anything useful to anybody or contribute to any kind of projects or do anything genuinely meaningful in some way, that's why it's based on the 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week model.

The concept was originally that someone needs something done, so they pay people to do that thing; a mutual agreement to which both parties benefit. Makes sense.

Now it's just a bunch of rich people who feel the need to control others. Nothing is actually being accomplished 90% of the time when you're "working". Realistically you could go to work and do everything that you needed to do that day in about 20 minutes or so, but they need you to stay there for 8 hours so you can be bored. It makes them feel good about themselves.

Yeah right. Travelling is so fucking expensive. Everything seems fucking marked up to hell in different locations. I went to San Francisco a few years ago for 4 days to learn about the city, see some of the historical sights, and go to a weeaboo fair and the hotel, restaurants, parking costed me well over $2000.
