The Beetlejuice review was terrible. I had to turn it off, it was so bad. It really did feel forced.

Also, I hate the glossy new glasses that he wears in the review and in the AVGN movie. They're just so distracting the way light reflects off of them.

I used to love James but if I saw him today I'd honestly try to kill him just to put him out of his misery. He's like an old sick dog that you can't stand to see hurt any longer.

He hates being the nerd but that's all he's got and he has to keep playing the character to maintain a living. His movie, the one chance of him following his dream of being a real film maker, was a completely embarrassing disaster.

He has a broken baby, his bitch wife walks all over him and the fact she's cuckolding him is all but confirmed. He's balding.

I think he'd kill himself if not for the baby, but with his wife's reputation I doubt it's even his in the first place.

AVGN was finished the moment he ran out of games he actually played and got genuinely angry at.

All of the emotion he showed when reviewing shitty games was pure. When he had to act, he couldn't cut it. He's not a good actor. He's just like every other reviewer: They know the theory, but they can't put it in practice. They don't have the artist's spark.


It's a shame to see him like this. A lot of people don't even know he's the one that truly started the caustic video game critic trend. At least Seanbaby still has dignity.

I saw James Rolfe at a grocery store in Philadelphia yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I worked at Cinemassacre for little over a year, but he decided to fire me after about a month of everyone constantly harassing him. He was always drunk during meetings, or letting his wife blow Guitar Guy under the table even though everyone could tell. One day he couldn't stand it anymore, Mike was sitting next to him and everytime James tried to talk he would yell "Shit Pickle!" to interrupt him. After the fifth time he grabbed him by the shoulder, the rest of the staff started snickering behind his back. He looked James straight in the eyes, screaming "SHIT PICKLE! SHIT PICKLE!" extremely loudly. He reached for the Rolling Rock in his pocket and presented it to him, then he said in the Inspector Gadget voice:

"Want some? It's what the motherfucking nerd drinks."

He lost his temper and knocked it out of his hand, Mike gave me this look like he couldn't believe what he was doing. After that James was quiet for the rest of the meeting, victory was Mike's, or so I thought.

The next day I sat down on the couch, only to find a piece of shit stick to my ass when I sat down on the chair. I consulted James about it, but he acted dumb and pretended to have no idea what I was talking about. But it didn't stop there, every day he would put a piece of shit somewhere. Under the mouse, in my shoes, between my games, he even replaced the sandwich my wife had made for me with nothing but different colored shit..
