Rewards update within the hour, what are you hoping for?
>not saving up codes every year to get plat the first day of the year Im like 200 coins over plat and I havent bought anything this year
except for someones smash 3DS code for the soundtrack
If anybody can guess what any of the games will be when Club Nintendo updates, I will give them email them a code for that game.
Limit 2 winners, limit 1 guess per post.
Post an email for confirmation.
screencap this post, it's just going to be useless bullshit
So who else is looking forward to their Smash Bros. CD? This will probably be the best reward they've put up since the Mario statue in 2010.
Eh. Why not? Dr. Mario
>my face when I have 900 coins and more than 1000 in codes
>my face when there is literally nothing of value for me on the rewards page because I emulate and have a flashcard
>Grill-Off With Ultra Hand
>Wii Version of Mario Tennis
>Wii U Version of Donkey Kong Jr Math
>Wii Version of Urban Champion
>Wii Version of Super Mario Bros 3
>3DS shit tier filler
Oh boy! Can't wait!
I've just been collecting codes for WiiU roms even though I don't even have a WiiU yet. At least it'll pad out my WiiU menu whenever I get one?
Oh, these were added recently too
>Galaxy and 3D World soundtracks
>Game & Watch
>Just giving out eshop points instead of pre-chosen games
>Peach Relaxation Set
Yuropoors have no right to complain.
I think those codes expire after a certain amount of time.
The codes don't expire. They might decrease in value because the game would be old, but that would be a few years. Like right now, most DS games are only worth 20 coins.
The coins can expire if they are 2 years old, though.
>order the Legend of Zelda bag
>email Nintendo and say to resend it
>still hasn't arrived
I'm sure I put in the correct postage details?
Where do I change them to make sure they're correct?
So what's that one CN reward you missed out on? You know, the one you had your heart set on, but there was just zero possible way you were going to get any coins before it sold out.
For me, it wasn't the Luigi statue or even the Kirby plaque that I missed, but that golden nunchuck. It killed me to see it go sold out.
You know Nintendo has been a company for the past 100 years right? Before the 80s, they made toys and cards. It's a neat tribute to their history, but I doubt the game is even fun.
A real Ultra Hand would've been a fantastic prize on the other hand.
G&W Collection 2 (got first one, missed second by 300 coins)
Any VC games that were somewhat interesting (they keep getting worse and worse)
Remember when people thought the Platinum prize for this year could be exclusive amiibos?
I think this will be the year you want to shoot for platinum. It's been getting progressively shit the last few years, and this last one had some major lashback. I think they'll finally try to make up fr it with something decent
>super mario 3d world and galaxy platinum soundtrack
Probably the golden nunchuk since I already had the golden Wiimote from Skyward Sword. Also I missed out on the XL charging docks because I heard of it too late. I even had enough coins for it
>see the gold nunchuck
>register everything I have
>200ish coins short
>call my friend who I know keeps everything his games come with for "collector's value" (implying opened/used games are worth shit)
>offer to buy him some MtG boosters for the codes
I didn't even have a Wii at the time, but I had the collector's edition of Squidward Sword, so the matching nunchuck was perfect.
I can't take it anymore.
I just can't do it. Club Nintendo NA needs better prizes now, and if they won't give us them, we need to make them run out of stock on their current shit.
Let's do it guys.
LET'S FUCKING DO IT.
THE ONLY WAY TO GET MORE REWARDS IS TO REDEEM AS MANY MARIO/NINTENDOG GREETING CARDS AS POSSIBLE UNTIL THEY RUN OUT SO THEY CAN SWITCH THEM OUT FOR MORE ITEMS. THE KIRBY PATCHES ARE ALREADY GONE AFTER FOUR YEARS, IT'S POSSIBLE MAN.
I KNOW YOU GUYS HAVE EXCESS COINS, WE HAVE TO DO THIS.
Had the 1,500 coins, then missed it by a few hours. Tried to get it at 5PM when it was still on the Available page, then moved to Unavailable the next day.
I guess I wouldn't have gotten it since my account was banned
That Kirby pin.
>go to Gamestop after class, they're bro enough to give me a ton of codes
>go home, enter all the ones I need to despite about half of them being doubles
>oh man it's still in stock!
>click the item page
At least I snagged that Luigi statue, it's pretty nice. It's really too bad these limited releases will be the only way we get physical rewards now. Fuck NoA.
Prefer physical items as I have a flashcard for the GB/C Roma they offer.
Got the blue XL dock and PowerUP Pouch. Both great quality which surprised me. I was expecting trash material tbh.
>I was working the day they released the XL dock
I was SO fucking pissed that I didn't get one.
Stupid financial decision? Spending 2 dollars on something I am currently enjoying, related to my hobby of vidya and favourtie song of mine from SMS.
Shit, you really are poor if you cant spend a little extra money on stuff you like. Do you even buy vidya or vidya related stuff or what?
Ain't nobody forcing you to buy anything.
As are you, my nigga.
What items do you guys have?
Got a few poster sets, wanted the ALBW, but didn't get it
Two of the 18 card holders, Mario and Luigi 3DS cases, Pikmin tote bag, and the messenger bag
Pretty cool I guess
I sure hope so, man.
>Get into Club Nintendo back when they had ballin' rewards like the Game & Watch collections and actual physical rewards
>Poorfag mode prevented vidya acquisition, and thus code acquisition
>Watch all the cool shit zoom by
>Manage to snag a DS game case
>Finally manage to hit Plat last year
>Inadvertently lock myself out of special Plat shit by opting-out of notifications, which I wrote off as spam
I have 1000+ coins right now, and I'm gonna snap up the first item of any worth that I see if and when they show up, because FUCK THIS SHIT WHY IN NOA CLUB NINTENDO SO SHITTY
They would just think we're happy with those rewards and shove out more shitty rewards. That or they're just waiting for the cards to run out so they can phase CN into digital rewards only mode.
Because most Smash fans are going to be buying both versions anyway and this is just a nice bonus for them.
Because for me it's in the sense of "it's a smash bros game" with almost same engine
But different stages, sounds, trophies
It's not the same because it plays the same anon, or better in this case
>>Inadvertently lock myself out of special Plat shit by opting-out of notifications, which I wrote off as spam
Fucking glorious, all you idiots running around /v/ begging for codes that week
Mario + Link Notebooks
GC Memory Card holder
Zelda Collector's Edition (pic)
Animal Crossing Soundtrack CD
The card holder was part of a bundle (Gamecube cap and memory card holder) but they ran out of caps, so they sent me a Zelda Collector's Edition instead (which was much better in the end).
The soundtrack CD was just a selection of songs from WW/CF.
When was the last time Club Nintendo even offered a new physical reward? 2013 Zelda posters?
Usually, they give out one special one a year. Last year it was Luigi Statue.
Safe to say CN as we know it is dead.
Club Nintendo used to be an incentive to buy new.
Exclusive prizes were a good way of ensuring this, as nerds would pony up the cash to ensure they could get coins and collector's items.
Now, there is really no incentive to buy new.
Buy 500-600 worth of product new for a couple limited digital downloads...
Or 200-300 worth of the same product used and use the money you save for any digital downloads.
It doesn't take a genius to see why people are indignant, especially after the last platinum reward.
>japan and yurop get the yoshi plush
>all we get are postcards
I am platinum mad
People are mad that they can't sit on and eventually resell their CN rewards.
Nicknacks are useless. They just sit there and maybe you look at them occasionally. VC games are something you can actually use, and them being playable on your official Nintendo hardware in a legal and sanctioned way is more compelling to me than some statue that has some nebulous collector's value.
I'm not commenting on the viability of exclusive items, I'm just saying that it's a lot cheaper to buy everything used, especially if you can wait for deals and have good self-control (and you still at least have a chance of getting coins anyway) and then spend the money you save on the digital rewards you would have gotten from buying new.
CN is not some benevolent thank you system for loyal nintendo fans. It obviously served an economic purpose, and IMO I think it was a way to encourage people to buy new product near the time of release.
It's bullshit they're the same games that are already on the Wii and other consoles
I'll just use my GBA and flashcard to pirate them
The point of VC is to prevent piracy too, doesn't help when nothing is released
Hey guys I have a question
How do I file transfer drom 3ds?
do I have to have 2 SD cards?
because I have a full 64gb sd card and want to transfer things to my new 3ds but the new one does not have a big sd card
how to? please help
I'm 10 coins away, I'll do it if you have a spare coin code
so glad the fucking epic yarn patches are gone but I doubt anything new will ever be added
4 3DS game cases
Luigi's Mansion figurine
some blue pouch
Animal Crossing deck of cards
Platinum Mario deck of cards
Platinum Majora's Mask OST
some shitty tote bag
I'm going to miss the physical gifts when they're all gone
They need to bring back at least the card case 18 and pouches.
Some other shit on top of that would be nice.
No status. No platinum exclusive rewards but instead getting credit in every purchase just like it's in the Digital Deluxe Program and with regular promos like the soundtrack offer, figurines, free games... And also no coins anymore.
>yfw euros and aussies get a Tropical Freeze soundtrack
>North America doesn't (as usual)
