Club Nintendo used to be an incentive to buy new.
Exclusive prizes were a good way of ensuring this, as nerds would pony up the cash to ensure they could get coins and collector's items.
Now, there is really no incentive to buy new.
Buy 500-600 worth of product new for a couple limited digital downloads...
Or 200-300 worth of the same product used and use the money you save for any digital downloads.
It doesn't take a genius to see why people are indignant, especially after the last platinum reward.
