That sounds cool and all, but for me by far the greatest part of Chrome hounds was the mid to long range fights.

Honestly, just the memory of playing this game with a clan makes my dick seriously hard. This game alone made a 360 worth it for awhile for me.

Though I loved 4, 5 is fine, my biggest issue was how much flight got toned down but with the right booster and reverse joined legs you can get fucking high and stay up for a while. The wall kicking stuff also makes for some interesting fights if you git gud at it.

I ran a set with a single howitzer and a few snipers with limited ammo, heavy punch but not a lot of shots.

Made the fights intense as shit.
Also having the howitzer on one side made the hound wip to the side after a shot, got my dick so hard

That's all fine and dandy, but if the balance is off then all you'll see is the boring minmaxers.

MAV on the PC is a spiritual successor to chromehounds, and looks to improve the stuff that was broken in it and expand upon it.
It's in early access and 20 bucks though, haven't bought it myself because of that but from his updates and videos it looks really promising.
