The PC version is said to be the same as the PS3 and Xbox360, Konami hates PC because last year they released the demo and some modder unlocked all the teams and players, which basically meant you had the game for free weeks before release

what's with all of the sudden framerate/resolution "wars" there's four threads up as we speak, I'm seeing it come mostly from the sony side of things and it doesn't make much since, we all didn't fight over framerate/resolution last gen so why start this gen?
Because very few games had such glaring resolution differences last gen. They all ran at 720p 30fps with drops on the PS3 side because of lack of optimization.
Also the news just came out and it's pretty funny so multiple people posted it.

Consoles overall are stagnating in graphic power. In 7th generation Xbox 360 and PS3 were high-end PCs at the time of it's release. This generation Consoles were already outdated by release.
1080p and 60p are buzzwords.
They are not going to ignore a chunk of their userbase because of graphic problems.
PS3/XBOX36 still gets games.
PS4 has 40% more shaders.
PS4's memory access scheme is much simpler and not pants on head retarded like XB1, which leads to a unified bandwidth number.
PS4 has 16 more ROPs than the XB1
PS4 SoC is also very well designed, while XB1's is all over the place.
All in all, from a strict engineering and programmer perspective, PS4 was designed to game & media very well in separate blocs. XB1 was designed to media and game, but in disparate pieces leading to inefficiencies across the board.

The latter, or above, in this case, is significantly more efficient in how it handles data and renders to output, leading to an overall higher performance with effects, textures, and transcendental heavy calculations than the XB1.
