I felt the Fumeknight was more fun.

Alonne is still pretty cool, more or less Artorias 2.0, sadly he doesn't have enough health or power to handle multiple people unlike Artorias. More the reason to fight him one on one I suppose.

By far one of my favorite fights in DS2.

I loved the little details for him. Like if you beat him without healing or taking damage he commits seppuku when he reaches 0 HP.

Enemy placement was shit and they need to fire whoever did it (muh ambushes).
Bosses were good if you pretend Alonne and Fume are the only bosses in the DLC. They're too tanky on NG+ and beyond though.

the DLC levels are the best parts of the game.

Compared to the lackluster base game, Shulva and the Brume Tower are pretty much the best areas, and Sinh, Fume and Alonne are better bosses than any of the base bosses either.

A good humanoid/knight boss in a game filled with a ton of sub par humanoid bosses.
