I just thought RDR was okay. 6/10, I don't believe it's worth all the praise it gets, but I'm not going to insult anybody for that, it's uncalled for. Pic related is my 10/10, and so is Cobi's Adventure. I really liked Hand of the Heavenly Bride for DS too, but I don't know where the cartridge is off to. One of my favorite moments in games is Protag of HotHB gets turned to stone and becomes someone's lawn ornament while his kids grow up. Sentinels of the Starry Skies was great too, had the same homely feel as the three other games I mentioned, although no monster capturing and training put it down on the list of DQ games for me.

I find it odd, being a racing sim enthusiast where I can buy Game Stock Car Extreme, or rFactor 2 for around 30 bucks.
Both games are actively updated by the devs with free content being added regularly.

For me, 10/10 means a perfect game.
Perfection to me means that the whole experience was enjoyable.
Bioshock's last couple of hours were barely enjoyable, and SS2's last four or so hours were numbing.

And sure, both of those games are on my top 10 list, but damn, seriously. The ending is usually the part that sticks with me the most, and if that's shit, than it usually drags the whole game down a notch with it.

Now that I think about it, Hotline Miami shouldn't be on my top 10 either.

Huge open word, rewards exploration with surprises, items and a whole game within a game, fantastic soundtrack, lovable characters, pleasing and colorful art style, charming monsters, very long and full of surprises and wonder for your first playthrough, rewarding to invest in different skills and new weapons for your second playthrough, tons of boss fights, a grand final boss, a very satisfying ending, and a challenging postgame secret boss. I only wish I could wipe my mind of this game so I could play it for the first time and discover it's secrets all over again.
