If you don't buy her video game, how will she fix her body in time for a sequel?
How would you feel if a fit and angry woman raped you?
First season has good moments and a good villain, but lots of romantic/relationship bullshit.
Season 2 is fucking awful, with the exception of the episodes about the first Avatar.
Season 3 was pretty good, possibly on tier with Season 3 of TLA.
its not very good
nick thought the creators were what made the first one great when they very clearly were not, and without a proper writing staff its a series of awful cliches and deus ex machina
I hope everyone picks up the game, it looks good
he really didnt do anything period
i dont get what his whole schtick was anyway
like what was he going to do after the avatar was gone, fly around thingken bout p'li
his end goal was fucking stupid and it was obvious that they didnt lay the story out beforehand, they did the same ominous motivations bullshit from season 2 and then pissed it away with another "lel gonna kill the abatar"
she ate Bosco
she deserves no sympathy
>she ate bosco
man that's fucked up
next you'll say appa and momo are gone
>Ming-Hua will never give you a watery handjob
3rd season, worst season. Except for the Bei Fong part, only decent thing about it.
Watch it. I didn't find it as horrific as everyone makes it seem. If you really can't stand it just watch the last episode or two to get the gist of what's going on or just read a summary because you'll need to know whats going on for season 3.
No S1 stands head and shoulders above everything else Avatar, S2 (sans Wan episodes) at it's best isn't as good as TLA at it's best, but S2 at it's worst is leagues better than TLA at it's worst, and S3 stands even, if not a little higher than TLA.
S2 is okay if you archive binge. It was frustrating to watch a week a time, because some of the characters act like utter morons until after the flashback ep, but if you watch it all at once it's not so bad.
Best conclusion to a season though.
I guess. I have pretty high nostalgia for TLA but there was a lot of slow parts or filler/character development episodes.
>"Say hello to the Earth Queen for me"
Best line in the episode.
>Holy shit Fire bender can use fire to propel themselves through the air and shoot lightning
>Holy shit water benders can remove bending, bend spirits and bend blood
>Holy shit air benders can fly and pull air out of your lungs effortlessly by creating a vacuum
>Earth benders can bend metal
When is earth getting a super saiyan?
Force her into Avatar state with the poison, then kill her and sever her line with the spirits or something and no more Avatars. Just killing her would cause another Avatar to be born.
>Best conclusion to a season though.
it was the only one they didnt completely fuck up
korra faced consequences, despite the fact that theres probably going to be a timeskip that bypasses it next season
nobody popped up at the last second to clean up her mess and wipe tears out of her eyes
they wanted to kill her in avatar state to end the avatar line
dont mind she already killed all the other past avatars just because
They didn't expect the Bending God to be super strong
After much coaxing my friends finally got me to watch this. What really confuses me is why feminists, tumblr, and SJW like it so much. Amon is a SJW and everything he stands for is very similar to what they stand for... yet they love it. Hell, Bolin and Mako even made a offhand joke about how girls are more trouble than their worth...
A ten year old girl literally had to win her fight for her.
Admittedly it was because she was actually incapacitated this time, instead of just really shitty at bending like usual, but still.
How the hell doesn't lava bending count as fire bending?
>dont mind she already killed all the other past avatars just because
What? Can you elaborate? I only watched the first season, but it was too shitty compared with the original so I left it.
I guess it could have something to do with how the good guys never actually bother to explain how the bad guy was wrong. Not that they couldn't have, they just didn't. Korra beat him up and then his brother killed him and all of the actually legitimate and pre-existing strife against bending in general was just forgotten because one guy turned out to be lying about his scar.
Good luck throwing air or fire at the rock shelter I just created.
Well, waterbender could turn the water filling up the construction into ice and It would all go fuck itself though
Chill, don't act like a fucking child.
I just find it interesting is all, especially when the similarities between them and Amon are so similar. He's forcing equality which they are all about, and the people speaking for him sound like twitter feminists, yet they eat it up. It's a little odd.
It ain't a wemb, but here ya go FRIEND.
I know, tumblr.
Actually it's probably not. I would conjecture that the freezing and melting that water benders do is actually done by manipulating the vapor pressure of the water, causing it to shift state without changing temperature.
Obviously this wouldn't' really work with lava bending. Perhaps the heat in lava bending is generated via internal frictional forces?
reminder that someone's head exploded this season
the official site, moron
>not being best bender
She lost her connection when the S2 villain took
the ancient spiritout of her. Can't recall any more than that, so i don't know if that Anon is full of bullshit by blaming her
General Iroh was the best Avatar character, prove me wrong
Okay I'm not gonna reply to all that shit but a few because fuck tumblr you like korra
>Air benders can spirit world
>Each element seems to have two sub-bending types.
Earth bending is objectively the worst form of bending.
Exactly, lava and metal doesn't compare, air and water is OP as fuck
Lava doesn't mean shit when you can point and zap with lightning and fly with fire, they're the cannon fodder of avatar
It got taken off the air because the ratings were shit because the show is shit, but they kept making it and put it online because they already signed a contract saying they would pay for it.
I love Iroh
That said, what the fuck was all that montage of training for? He fucking looks like a warrior and he just comes out and looks the exact same. He doesn't even get a fight in his improved state. I wanted him to fucking take on army. He deserved that.
They actually hated Korra beating up Amon, though.
Nevermind they also hated this season because "all female villains were irrelevant" and "protecting the big guys while the freedom fighters are antagonized"
>Took Ghazan 1 minute to do what Iroh couldn't in days
Why is Korra so awful?
I was fucking excited for this show and it ended up being pure liquid shit.
that begs the question
how do they know the avatar cycle will end if nobody's ever died during it
More spirit world shenanigans, probably like how Aang figured out a way to stop the Firelord without killing him outright
even if it was justified on the damage he had already helped cause.
I am looking right at it. First episode not here .at all
>what the fuck was all that montage of training for?
Getting ready to retake Ba Sing Se, breaking out of prison. Did you notice how everyone was his bitch? That's why.
You don't see it yet. Keep looking. Really search for it.
Yeah, but she lost the connection when Raava was take out of her. So did the past live come back when they joined and Korra was like 'no, get out of me, i don't want to have support, i am retarded'?
Just a reminder this is the first time in Avatar heroes have outright dueled to kill.
>It's revealed that Iroh is a fucking muscle god and was always pretending to have a gut to make people underestimate him
>Korra retcons this and makes it so he's actually fat
I downloaded Avatar just to watch Korra, since I had never watched the ending of S2 or beyond it.
I ended up loving Avatar.
Nick didn't like that most people watched S2 on their website so they took it offline and only put it on TV... For one showing and then never again until the season was over, so people like me who can't be home on Friday night just went online and pirated it. Then Nick got really salty and decided that they were just going to take it off the air because their own stupidity killed the ratings.
>Tell me what I' msupposed to be looking for
The other episodes. I won't tell you where because you need to learn this on your own because we won't always be here to tell you what's right in front of you.
Why are the fights so shit in this show? Isn't it the same studio animating them?
I mean the production value increased, but that doesn't make them good. I'd take the worst fights in ATLA over the best in TLoK any day.
Actually, I'm pretty sure they modeled Korra after Michelle Jenneke
It's a fucking wonder how the fire benders killed the air nation or how they could stand a chance against water benders in this canon.
The only fucking reason the fire benders were powerful in the cartoon is because they and air benders don't require a source to bend. Even then air benders are much more powerful, so they needed sozin's comet to take them down.
But in this movie everyone but airbenders need a source, and everyone but airbenders are weak as shit. So fucking stupid.
It's due to the constrained size. Which is fine, in a modern society you can't level a mountainside because you fight someone
I saw it in a stream, and it almost literally hurt how bad this movie was. That particular part was actually supposed to be from where the Earthbenders were being kept on a METAL SHIP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN, LONG BEFORE METALBENDING WAS EVEN A THOUGHT. In the show, they were fucked so far as they knew, but these guys could have just gone "Fuck your shit" and buried the Firebenders under a ton of rocks any time they wanted.
I like the way she does things
I don't see why everyone likes Korra so much, she's shit.
Sup Guts, you know I'm like a God now right?
Casca loved it
>Tenzin was outmatching Zaheer the entire time they fought
>Zaheer, while losing to Korra in avatar mode, was still putting up a big fight
So does that mean that Tenzin > Korra even in her avatar state?
Why does he always get fucking short sticked despite being probably the greatest bender living at the time of Korra?
Why was Combustion Man so much stronger than P'Li?
Of course the villains tried to kill people before, dumbass.
Accidents. The attacks just happened to kill them. Aang wasn't fully conscious of himself and Sokka was just shooting blind.
Both Su Yen and Mako made intended kill-shots.
They didn't kick his ass he gave up because his son was killed. it was pretty much a stalemate and that was only in ba sing sei i believe. mostly everywhere elsethe earth kingdom had aready fallen
I'm still waiting for an earthbender that can control every single mineral ever and can use boiling hot liquid metal at will.
I'm getting some sick Evangelion vibes here.
because its about the Legend of Korra which is ruining everything. So I guess change it to the Nightmare that is Korra
but anyways I would kill for a actual series of Aang after the war like the comics. Or just Tenzin trying to bring back the Airnomads with no avatar or anything along with him.
Well Korra was also poisoned at the time and is much younger than Tenzin who probably trained extensively and rigorously under Aang so he is pretty OP.
Not to undercut how fucking badass Tenzin.
you can't rape the willing
Come at me Guts
1v1 on sword hill
She's also like 7 feet tall. Being an Amazon counts for something, right?
Was somebody on the TLA producing team a footfag?
I mean besides Toph of course, you see every single main character barefooted, especially in Season 3.
Team Avatar are barefoot like half the episodes, and you see all the bad guys barefooted at that goofy beach party episode.
>Take his head off
The hit did little more than stun him. They had no idea that would make his bending backfire. That's not the same as putting metal around someone's head to blow it off or shocking someone to death in water.
Durr what are swamp benders
Tenzin deserves to AT LEAST take down the second in command for a season, or do some crazy shit.
I mean hell, Iroh got his moment to shine at the end of book 3, why can't Tenzin actually win for once?
