Which SNES game has the best soundtrack?
well fuck you too
Its soundtrack fits and sets the mood of the game superbly well, but having it in my music library I can say that apart from maybe 2-3 tracks, the music is nothing special when listened to on its own.
How is SFC best sounds.
Dancing Mad is good organs.
Tales of Fantasia for sample singing.
Broad consideration of how OP use "soundtrack" even Star Ocean for voice acting?
The original Castlevania had the best music.
Vampire Killer, Heart of Fire and Wicked Child are all legendary.
Bloody Tears is elder god tier as well, but that's it Simon's Quest to offer.
Honestly I would rank Bloody Tears higher than VK.
That's why I'm conflicted when it comes to Simon's Quest. It's not a good (though admittedly innovate) game by any means, but the music is so fucking good.
all the music in castlevania is fucking god tier, but SCV4 has the best music overall, great remixes, and great original music
also draculas curse had the best nes music
>Honestly I would rank Bloody Tears higher than VK
As would I, but I'd take Wicked Child + Heart of Fire + Vampire Killer over Bloody Tears by itself.
Simon's Quest had like... 7 tracks in total. The only one that stands out is Bloody Tears.
You can emulate, ya know. There's even an English fan translation for the small amount of text in the game. The biggest difference between the two versions aside from music is that the JP version is easier.
This list only reminds me of why SNES is the best console ever. Voted for ff6 anyway.
>Final Fantasy VI
I'm so pathetic. I can't even read the name of this game without getting upset. This was my ex-bf's favorite game. I remember playing it for the first time and he would help me when I got lost. He had a great memory and played so many times that all I had to do was say, "I'm stuck at the one part with the thing" and he'd know exactly what I was talking about and how to guide me through it. We bonded so much over it that now I can't see any reference to the game without thinking of him.
Listen to this shit; please, educate yourself.
>mfw someone finally voted for Separation Anxiety
Better than most crap posted in this thread
good, great even by 16 bit standards but too cheesy. Also, there are better entries on the list, Megaman X in particular has a solid all around OST
Rondo of Blood had great music too
Rondo of Blood is for the PC Engine, but I agree the soundtrack is god theme.
Richter is best Belmont
this is great, but if we're going to NES music, albeit cliched this has to come up:
and this one too:
Megaman music was always top tier until 32 bit consoles and cd quality music came up, even so MMX4's OST was still pretty good
I'm very upset to see that there are no Kirby games on this list OP. Educate yourself to some of the greatest musical compositions of our time:
The correct answer is Plok.
holy fuck, no fighting game on the SNES had any business being this good
special cancels, EX moves and shit
intro is elder god tier
