Video games still (understandably) has the stigma of being for the young and immature. Everyone will confront the topic of sex in real life, but killing is strictly fantasy for most people. Of course there are people for whom having sex is as mythical an experience as killing is, but welp. Killing is also fun for game playing experience, while sex isn't so much and is not necessary.

As for rape, I suppose it's considered something more deranged and animalistic than killing. There can be good reasons to kill; even murder can be complex and the ethics disputed. The same can't be said for rape. That's an interesting question anon, there are probably some psychological studies done on the matter in movies and other media which can be translated to video games as well.

I have my own personal theory that every human has that myth of an angel and a demon sitting on your shoulders. On part of you is made of a cold/robotic rational half, and the other is emotional/primal half. Each of them build up by time, the robotic one pushes you to do good thing and to behave polite, the primal one pushes you to act like your primal self, which isn't a bad thing, after all that half helped us survive through the ages.

I think that a lot of people are on anti-depressants and commit school shootings and crimes just because they can't unload that primal self in today's environment without being called homophobic/racist/sexists etc. People suppress sexuality as a taboo, an I think that's wrong. I don't mean you should be raping people on the street, but killing/sexing stuff in a virtual non-consequence environment is a good thing.

That's why most of the time after you fap you get that "Oh god what am I doing?" feeling, you are unloading the primal, and you are left with the robotic.

But what do I know, this is just my personal rambling
