I know two friends with the exact same shit and I'm tired of hearing that startling (!) bullshit. Having a loud noise as your notification is obnoxious.

Mine is just the default ringtone and notification alert. Not like I'm trying to be hipster, it's just that if I change them then I'll just keep changing them every other month once I start to get annoyed by them.

My old phone had a ringtone using one of my favorite songs. But it was during a time period where I was avoiding calls from certain people. Now listening to the song in my free time just gives me stress because of the association.

I also had the alert theme as my alarm but I had to change it because it jump scared me out of bed and put me in a bad mood.

I use Hand in Hand or Blast Away Gummi Ship Part 1 for my ringtone. I don't know any good sound effects for the text sound. Would probably make it Kingdom Hearts related. Maybe the White Mushroom sound when you use the right magic.
