This is completely true, every single NPC in the game spots something related to augmentations, even that detective who got shot 3 times debates you for 10 minutes how augmentations are bad.

Does anyone do that? It's a much more satisfying game if you play it by being stealthy. Anyway the scripted sequences don't bother me, at least I can't thing of a better way of implementing the take-downs. And even if they did bother me, judging an entire game on that one aspect is retarded.

I played DX:HR recently and I haven't played the original yet, so I'm not talking out of nostalgia. While I really liked DX:HR, the stealth system is a joke compared to games like Chaos Theory and the XP system is broken and very biased when it comes to rewarding stuff. I played the entire game pacifist, and I would have much preferred if the game granted the most XP for leaving enemies untouched.

Other then that it's a great game with most things done right, but I would probably only rate it 7/10 because of the mediocre gameplay. If the original is really comparable to DXHR then I'm a bit sad.

Can't really agree. The atmosphere was great, and the first half of the story was enjoyable. All the stuff to find and read and explore was fun aswell. Sidequests were interesting. Characters were pretty cool (but the game went really downhill after the first half). My only complaints are in gameplay and in the last part of the story with that bullshit ending.
