I did a college project on video games and who's playing them today.

As such I did some statisical research. This involved looking up existing stats.

That stat, the one that says "45% of gamers are female" is innacurate.

It's actually "45% of people who purchase video games in stores in the USA are female".

This means that there's a high possibility that these women are simply mothers buying games for their sons.
