2d top-down football/air-hockey kind of combo. Pretty high skill ceiling with plenty of mods/arenas available. Netcode might be iffy at times. This reminds me of two other free games:

Sub Rosa and Hockey? (or 'Hockeyquestionmark'). Both great fun, very original games. Shame they haven't been updated in ages, evenothough the dev(s) seem to be actively working on them.
