What should are some essential GCCX episodes?
Honestly just look for a game that you enjoy also, or maybe a game that you were interested in playing but never got around to.
I don't really think it matters where you start watching if you've never seen any before.
This. I should this to my little sister and she went on to watch the entire episode on her own.
Umihara Kawse was also a great episode.
Really like North Trip. Love the travel trips in general but this one was extra comfy.

Every single quiz ones and Tokimeki memorial is essential.
Also any fighting games related ones because usually he'll play against the staff, and it's always fun seeing Abe take care of business.
>Try to look up the Battletoads ep hoping for epic lulz as Arino fails over and over on the bike/pinwheel sections
>Jumps from 95 to 134
What that fuck man. I don't care to download eps, I just wanna stream yo.
I also think he should play Panel de Pon, exactly because sooner or later the staff would en up playing against him.
I wish he'd play more games like ActRaiser. I wish there were more games like ActRaiser.
>Game kept fucking up on him, sadly.
It was actually the type of monitor they were trying to use. It wasn't compatible with Super FX chip games and glitches up when trying to display them. Nobody at the store knew that.
Some of my favorite eps have been Tokimeki Memorial, Actraiser, Clocktower, Flashback, Golgo 13, 53Stations of the Tokaido, and Hokkaido Serial Killer.
>You will never love video games like Arino
>You will never be good at video games like Arino
>You will never as much dedication to video games as Arino
>You will never get money for playing games as Arino
>You will never live a happy life in general
>Ghouls n' Ghosts
Terrific episode and great for showing new people to hook them.
Loved the moment when they had to leave and Arino asks his manager if he has anything else to do that day in his appointments, "Nope" and Arino is "only videogames today, eh?" "What a busy person am I" or something like that
Only because they give him hints (which is perfectly acceptable) or play for him which usually happens only when he doesn't want to keep restarting the game over and over playing it from the beginning each time. He may not be close to the best, but he's by no means bad at video games whatsoever.
>Has he done any "newer" games? I don't mean like 2010+, but 2000+?
Only small bits of a couple newer games in the first season when the show was largely developer interviews. The newest games after that season have been a few N64 and PS1 games.
It doesn't make for good television to
fail your own 40th birthday live challengeor to never learn the basics of dodging and ammo discipline even after playing five Mega Man games. His skills are legitimately spotty. His fuck ups are genuine. That's why the show is entertaining.
I don't this this series was even subbed in proper broadcast order
>we went several fucking months without a new subbed episode
What the hell
The Mario and Yoshi challenges i can't believe are genuine 100%.... (or DK for that matter) nobody but nobody is THAT fucking bad if they have play as many games as Arino has.
A lot of it is the pressure of being on camera. Once the cameras stop rolling he can beat it easily. Same with ADs fucking up on camera but doing fine in the "I stayed late for 18 hours and had to beat the game on hard mode to get the true ending, here it is" footage.
I would agree, but for some people they jsut don't want to sit through/bother downloading games they aren't interested in unless the ep itself is good. Some of the best eps are unlikely candidates.
You'll just have to download them. After FujiTV whipped out the banhammer on the anons in YT, they moved over to DailyMotion, only for the same thing to happen again in just a few months.
The thing about a lot of platforming games is the characters often have momentum. You'll often need to hold a direction for a moment or two to get your character to full speed. Arino takes forever to get the hang of that and the micro jumping adjustments that are needed to not suck. Some people just aren't good at those games.
I would fucking kill to see Arino take on several NES games that never saw the light of day in Japan.
The gamingcx guy keeps stream hopping to other sites, but he's running out of choices each time they issue takedowns. The latest stream site isn't the best quality. Downloading probably is the best choice right now unless he can't for some reason.
I'm surprised they're even continuing on with this cat & mouse shit. FujiTV made it pretty clear they don't want they're show floating on streaming sites anymore, and they're only gonna keep coming down even harder
until they eventually set their sites on the Mega links.Just keep the shit seeing in Nyaa and we're gold.
Beat me to it
>ctrl+f "fatal fury special"
no love for Nakayama? that was also truly the best Arino episode.
Anybody saw Gackt doing his own game center thing?
He played Rockman 2 here:
Gackt used to be sort of famous around 10 years ago, nowdays I guess most people don't even know who he is.
