Xyz cards I personally think are not needed since Xyz can go into pretty much ANY deck and be beneficial. Just use Excalibur, Ark 101, Utopia, all the other awesome Rank 4s.

Synchros are a bit forced because you need an actual tuner which can either bring the deck up or down. Same with Pendulum
