I got it on launch day.
I work at Target in Canada so nobody shops there and I said to myself if there was any left at the end of my shift I'd buy it.

I ended up getting it below MRSP due to my discount and now the console is $50 more expensive up here. I didn't use it for a year (outside of MGSV) but now I'm playing it a bit more. Next year should be GOAT.

Try this
Look at the ripped picture, stand next to the radio and stare directly at the world hell. This is to fix the ghosts spawn location. Wait until both the midnight bell to ring and for the ghost music to end, then turn towards the radio and zoom in for a second, then move toward the phone and take exactly 10 steps. The baby should laugh right as you stop on the 10th step, if it doesn't, go reset the room.

After that it's still somewhat random, but the consistent thing seems to be staring at an important object then moving 10 steps. The item you need to look at seems to change every time though.

When you hear the baby laugh a second time, stop pushing every button and just wait after 10-15 second the baby should laugh a third time and the controller will vibrate and then the phone will ring.

Remember, when the ghost music starts up, just stare at a wall and don't move until the music goes away, this reduces the chance for the ghost to kill you.


The set up for the first laugh works 80% of the time for me.

I've made ghost girl appear at the clock, at the starting point, outside two of the three windows, at the radio, at the phone, in the mirror, I got her to possess me a couple dozen times, I got her to kill me a couple times, I even got the paper bag to speak a few times, I've collected all the picture pieces, I've gotten the red, blue, yellow, and green flashlights, I've gotten the midnight clock chiming, I've gotten the baby to laugh a couple dozen times, there's nothing left to do. The spooky audio cues at this point are just annoying.
